PAIRING (Individual Speaker)

Poweron/Pairing:Pressthemultifunctionbutton(MFB)oncetoturnon

 theBOOMBOTTLE+.Atonepromptwillsound.PressandholdtheMFBfor

3 seconds, then release. The Bluetoothindicator(BlueLED)willflashblue

 redalternatelywithasoundprompt.

2. Turn on your device’s menu to search for and connect to the Bluetooth

BOOMBOTTLE+

3. Select BOOMBOTTLE+

4. Asoundpromptwillnotifyyouofasuccessfulconnection.

Note:AfterpoweringtheBOOMBOTTLE+itwillautomaticallyreconnecttothe

lastdevicepaired.Anaudiopromptwillindicateacompletedconnection.Ifno

deviceisfoundwithin10seconds,BOOMBOTTLE+willenterPairingMode

(withconstantaudioprompt),andwillbefoundonanewpairingdeviceunder

the pairing name “BOOMBOTTLE+”.

Search Mode - indicator (blue LED) flashes every (2) seconds.Bluetooth

Connection - Bluetoothindicator(blueLED)flashesslowlyafterconnection.

Pairing Mode - BluetoothindicatorflashesBlue/Redalternatelywhilein

Pairing Mode.

OPERATION

Power On: -Pressandreleasemultifunctionbutton(MFB)(withpromptsound).

Power O: PressandholdtheMFBfor10seconds(withpromptsound).

Play/Pause: Click MFB once.

Track Forward: ClickMFBtwice.

Track Back: Click MFB three times.

Volume Control: Press “+” or “-” button to increase or decrease volume.

Unitwillemitsoundpromptwhenmax.volumeisreached.

Reset: Press both “Vol +” and “Vol -” button at the same time.

Auto Shut-o: BOOMBOTTLE+willshutdownautomaticallywithnowireless

audio playback or 3.5mm AUX connection after 30 minutes.

EQ Switch:ChoosebetweenIndoorandOutdoorEQsettings.

Re-Pairing:WhentheunitispoweredonpressandholdtheMFBfor3

secondsandrelease.TheBOOMBOTTLE+willloseitsexstingconnectionand

beginpairingtoanewdevice.

DUAL PAIRING (2 speaker units)

BOOMBOTTLE+ supports true

wireless stereo function with a second unit (sold separately).BOOMBOTTLE+

1.OpenwaterproofcoverandplacetheL/S/Rswitchintothe“S”(stereo)

 positiononbothspeakers.Leavewaterproofcoveropenuntilthepairing

process is complete.

2. PowerontwoboomBOTTLE+speakerunitsatthesame

 timebypressingandreleasingeachunit'sMFB.Place

one speaker in the L (left channel) position, and place the

other speaker in the R (right channel) position. Both

 speakerswillautomaticallypairtoeachother.

3. Take the speaker that is in the L position and hold the MFB

 for3secondsandrelease.Acontinuoussoundpromptwill

indicate the unit is in pairing mode.

Select“boomBOTTLE+”fromyourmusicdevice.Thetwospeakerunitsare

 nowinStereomodeandcanbeplayedtogether.

5. Whenconnectionissuccessfulthechannel(left/stereo/right)andtheEQof

both speakers may be adjusted independently. When the speakers Note:

 areinDualPairingMode,pressingtheMFBfor3seconds(Re-Pairing)will

 onlydisconnectthespeakerfromtheBluetoothmusicdevice,butwillnot

 affecttheconnectionbetweenthetwospeakerunits.

6. To leave Dual Pairing Mode, and play just one speaker: place the speakers

in “S” (stereo) position and turn off one of the units by pressing the MFB for

 10seconds(notebothspeakerswillturnoff.Youmayalsorestartthe

speakers or press “+” and “-” buttons at the same time (Reset).

Volume up down, track forward backward/ pause/play can work from

either speaker when in Dual Pairing Mode.

Notes:

• 3.5mmAUXconnectiontothemasterspeaker(thespeakerwhichstarted

 pairingin“L”position)canalsoworkinDualPairingMode.Pluganaudio

cable (not included) to the master speaker and plug the cable into your

 audiodevice.NotethatwhileusinganaudiocabletheMFBfunctionsand

volume functions on the

BOOMBOTTLE+

willnotwork.Youmustplay

 pause,trackforward,trackbackwarddirectlyfromtheaudiodevice.

• DualPairingModeallowsthespeakerstoautopairtoeachotherandtothe

 lastphonetheywerepairedtowhentheunitshavebeenrestarted,aslong

as the speakers have not been repaired or taken out of Dual Pairing Mode.

MULTI-PAIRING

(pairing 2 music devices to 1 BOOMBOTTLE+ speaker)

Pairing to the first device is the same process listed under “Pairing (Individual

Speaker)” .

To pair to a second device: After you are paired to the first device press the

MFB for 3 seconds and select BOOMBOTTLE+ from the second device’s

Bluetooth menu. Make sure both devices are connected to the speaker.

To play music from device 1: Press play on device 1.

To play music from device 2: Press pause on device 1, and

press play on music device 2.

Note:Multi-pairingfeaturewillonlyworkwithonespeakerandwillnotwork

withDualPairing.

VOLUME CONTROL

When using the BOOMBOTTLE+ for the first time, the volume is set at level 9

(of16).Adjustbypressingthevolumeup/downbutton.Ifthevolumeisalready

atmaximum,therewillbe1beepwhenyoupressthevolumeupbutton.

PAIRING BOOMBOTTLE+ WITH A PC

Be sure BOOMBOTTLE+isinpairing(discoverable)mode.Followstepsin

pairing section (single or dual).

2.Hardwareandsound

3. Devices and printers

4. Add a device

CHARGING BOOMBOTTLE+

When the battery reaches 10%, a warning prompt will sound, indicating

the boomBOTTLE + needs to be charged.

Please use the included charger and charging cable to charge the

BOOMBOTTLE+. Charging time for a completely drained battery is

approximately 3 hours.

1. Connect the micro-USB charging cable to the micro-USB port on the

BOOMBOTTLE+ .

2. Connect the USB connector to the USB port of the included charger.

Whilecharging,thecharginglevelLEDindicatorwillremainilluminatedRED.

4. Whenchargingiscomplete,thecharginglevelLEDindicatorwillturn

solid BLUE.

PAIRING BOOMBOTTLE+ WITH A MAC COMPUTER

Be sure BOOMBOTTLE+isinpairingmode.Followstepsinpairingsection

(single or dual).

1. Go to: Apple Menu (upper left corner).

2. Go to: System Preferences > Settings Icon > Add Device Bluetooth

 (“+”buttonatlowerleftofSettingswindow).

3.FollowthestepsintheSetupAssistanttosearchforBOOMBOTTLE+.

Select BOOMBOTTLE+ and press Continue.

4. Ifpromptedforapassword,pleaseenter“0000”

BOOMBOTTLE+willappearintheSettingswindowasaconnected

device.

USING THE BOOMBOTTLE+ AS A BACK UP BATTERy FOR

yOUR AUDIO DEVICE

If you need to do an emergency charge on your audio device: Make sure

theBOOMBOTTLE+ispoweredonandsimplyusetheUSBchargingcable

thatcamewithyouraudiodevicetoplugintothechargeoutputofthe

BOOMBOTTLE+.

• IfusinganiPhone6+withacompletelydeadbatterytheapproximate

music play time on the BOOMBOTTLE+ (considering the

 BOOMBOTTLE+hasacompletefullbattery)willbe1-2hrsbeforethe

BOOMBOTTLE+ internal battery is depleted.

•

If using the BOOMBOTTLE+ as an emergency charger and not playing

 music,simplyplugintheUSBchargingcablethatcamewithyourdevice

and turn on the BOOMBOTTLE+.

• Whennotplayingmusicandjustchargingyouraudiodevice(phone,

 MP3Playeretc),theBOOMBOTTLE+willshutoffafter1/2hr.Ifyou

 needtochargetheaudiodevicefurther,presstheMFBbuttontopower

on the unit again.

3.5mm AUXILIARy INPUT

TheBOOMBOTTLE+mayalsobeusedwithnon-Bluetooth devices

(personal CD or MP3 players). Simply connect the 3.5mm headphone jack

on your device to the 3.5mm input on the speaker using a 3.5mm audio

cable (not included).

TROUBLESHOOTING*

Charge the BOOMBOTTLE+. Confirm that the

cables are securely plugged in. The charging

statuslightwillglowREDwhilechargingand

changetoBLUEwhencomplete.

device has the latest software installed.

BOOMBOTTLE+.

Use the 12W USB charger & cable

includedwiththespeakerunit.IftheBOOM-

BOTTLE+ is has a completely dead battery, let

it charge for 30 minutes before playing music

whiletheinternalbatteryisbeingcharged.

BOOMBOTTLE+will

not play music

Check connection; raise the volume Bluetooth

on both your device and the BOOMBOTTLE+.

Howtochargeyour

audio device from the

charge output of the

BOOMBOTTLE+.

Usethechargingcablethatcamewithyour

music device to charge your audio device. The

charge output uses 7.5W.

Note:ThechargingoutputUSBdoesnotwork

as a charging pass through. If the BOOMBOT-

TLE+ has a dead battery the charging output

willnotworkwithyouraudiodevicewhenyou

need to charge the BOOMBOTTLE+.

The charge output is intended to be used

only as an emergency charger for your audio

device.

Music plays

intermittently.

The

BOOMBOTTLE+

has a range of

approximately 33 feet. For the best quality

musickeepyourdevicewithinrangeofthe

BOOMBOTTLE+

Device is connected via

3.5mm cable, but no

music plays.

Confirm that the BOOMBOTTLE+ is not paired

withanotherBluetooth Bluetooth device (a

connection overrides a device connected by

cable). Confirm that the BOOMBOTTLE+ is

fully charged.
