ATTENZIONE - PERICOLO DI INCENDIO!
► Gli alimenti in cottura possono incendiarsi! Pertanto, non
posizionare mai l'apparecchio in prossimità o al di sotto di
oggetti infiammabili, in particolare sotto tendine o pensili.
► L'apparecchio non deve essere utilizzato nelle immediate
vicinanze di materiali infiammabili.
► Non coprire mai il tostapane mentre è in funzione.
Consigli per l’uso
■ Non utilizzare fette troppo grosse o troppo spesse, poiché potrebbero inca-
strarsi facilmente. Se le fette di pane si incastrassero, staccare prima la spina
dalla presa di rete. Staccare le fette di pane incastrato con un bastoncino di
legno non appuntito (ad esempio il manico di un pennello). Nel farlo non
toccare le resistenze.
■ Le differenze nel tipo di pane, umidità e spessore delle singole fette influiscono
sul grado di doratura del pane da tostare. Si consiglia pertanto di conservare
il pane da tostare in una confezione chiusa. Provare sempre prima con un
grado di doratura più basso.
■ Utilizzare un livello di doratura più basso se si desidera tostare il pane secco,
poiché esso si scurisce più rapidamente rispetto al pane fresco.
■ Per il pane scuro selezionare un grado di tostatura più elevato che per il
pane bianco.
■ Le cifre del regolatore di doratura non rappresentano indicazioni temporali. 2
Esse servono soltanto come punto di riferimento per il grado di doratura.
■ Per evitare il surriscaldamento del tostapane e ottenere una doratura uniforme
del pane, attendere circa 15 secondi fra un processo di tostatura e l’altro.
■ Il livello più elevato del regolatore di doratura deve essere utilizzato 2
solo per grosse fette di pane scuro. Il pane bianco si brucerebbe con questo
grado di doratura e non sarebbe commestibile.Inoltre si può sviluppare
la formazione di fumo. In tal caso premere subito il tasto “Stop” 3 ed
estrarre la spina dalla presa di rete.

Installazione
ATTENZIONE - PERICOLO DI INCENDIO!
► Pertanto, non posizionare mai l’apparecchio in prossimità o al di sotto di
oggetti inammabili, in particolare sotto tendine o pensili.
■ Svolgere completamente il cavo dall’avvolgicavo e farlo passare attraver-9
so i serracavo .1
■ Collocare l’apparecchio su una supercie piana e resistente al calore.
■ Inserire la spina in una presa di corrente.
AVVERTENZA
► Se si intende spegnere il tostapane, staccare sempre la spina dalla presa.
Solo in questo modo l’apparecchio è privo di corrente.
Prima di utilizzare l’apparecchio
per la prima volta
■ Azionare il tostapane a vuoto 3 volte con l’impostazione di doratura
massima “6”.
■ Pulire quindi il tostapane come descritto al capitolo “Pulizia”.
AVVERTENZA
► il tasto di comando si inserisce solo con il cavo di rete collegato.8
► Durante il primo impiego può svilupparsi un leggero odore (e anche una
leggera formazione di fumo). Si tratta di un evento normale che cessa
dopo poco tempo. Provvedere a una sufficiente aerazione. Aprire ad
esempio una nestra.
Uso
Regolazione del grado di doratura
Il grado di doratura desiderato da “chiaro” (1) a “scuro” (6) può essere regola-
to in continuo con il regolatore di doratura . 2

Tostatura
ATTENZIONE - PERICOLO D'INCENDIO!
► Non coprire i vani di tostatura mentre l'apparecchio è in funzione. 7
Sussiste il pericolo d'incendio! L'apparecchio potrebbe danneggiarsi
irreparabilmente!
AVVERTENZA
► Se nel tostapane è presente un solo toast, per ottenere la stessa doratura
di quando si preparano 2 toast ridurre il regolatore del grado di dora-2
tura di ca. 1/2 - 1 livello.
1) Dopo aver impostato il grado di doratura desiderato, collocare il pane nel
vano di tostatura .7
2) Premere il tasto di comando verso il basso. La centratura automatica 8
consente di centrare il pane inserito nel vano di tostatura . Durante il 7
procedimento di tostatura, la spia di controllo integrata nel tasto “Stop” 3
si accende.
3) Al raggiungimento del grado di doratura desiderato, il tostapane si spegne
automaticamente, la spia di controllo si spegne e le fette di pane vengono
espulse verso l’alto.
Interruzione del procedimento di tostatura
Se si desidera interrompere il procedimento di tostatura, premere il tasto Stop 3.
Il tostapane si spegne e le fette di pane vengono espulse verso l’alto.
Funzione di riscaldamento
La funzione di riscaldamento permette di riscaldare il pane senza dorarlo. Essa è
utile ad esempio per riscaldare il pane tostato che si è raffreddato. Il pane viene
riscaldato solo brevemente.
1) Inserire il pane e premere il tasto di comando verso il basso.8
2) Premere il tasto “Riscaldamento” 4. La spia integrata si accende.
3) Quando il pane è nuovamente riscaldato, l’apparecchio si spegne automatica-
mente e le fette di pane vengono respinte verso l’alto.
NOTA
► Per disattivare nuovamente la funzione di riscaldamento, premere di nuovo
il tasto "Riscaldamento" . La spia di controllo integrata si spegne, il 4
procedimento di riscaldamento continua come normale procedimento di
tostatura.

Funzione di scongelamento
Tramite l’azionamento del tasto “Scongelamento” è possibile scongelare e 5
tostare anche il pane congelato. Il tostapane in tal caso riscalda il pane lentamente.
Con l’attivazione della funzione di scongelamento, nel caso di un toast surgelato si
ottiene la stessa doratura di quando si prepara un toast fresco.
1) Dopo aver impostato il grado di doratura desiderato, collocare il pane nel
vano di tostatura .7
2) Premere il tasto di comando verso il basso.8
3) Azionare il tasto “Scongelamento” . La spia di controllo integrata si 5
accende.
4) Se il procedimento di scongelamento e tostatura è terminato, il tostapane si
spegne automaticamente, la spia di controllo inserita nel tasto “Scongelamento”
5 si spegne e le fette di pane vengono respinte nuovamente verso l’alto.
NOTA
► Per disattivare nuovamente la funzione di scongelamento, premere di nuovo
il tasto "Scongelamento" 5. La spia di controllo integrata si spegne, il
procedimento di scongelamento continua come normale procedimento di
tostatura.
Riscaldamento dei panini per renderli croccanti
Non collocare mai i panini direttamente sul tostapane, bensì utilizzare sempre
l’apposito accessorio per panini .6
1) Estrarre entrambi i piedi di appoggio dell’accessorio per panini .6
2) Collocare l’accessorio per panini sull’apparecchio in modo tale che i 6
piedi di appoggio sporgano nei vani di tostatura e il ponticello sporga 7
fra i vani di tostatura nelle curvature dei piedi di appoggio. In tal modo 7
l’accessorio per panini poggia saldamente sull’apparecchio.6
3) Collocarvi sopra i panini e avviare il processo di tostatura. Per farlo, impostare il
regolatore del grado di doratura come massimo sul livello 22 . La doratura
può tuttavia risultare diversa in funzione delle caratteristiche e del tipo di panino.
NOTA
► Dopo il procedimento di tostatura i panini sono bollenti.
4) Non appena il tostapane si spegne, girare i panini per farli dorare sull’altro
lato e riaccendere il tostapane.
5) Se non si utilizza più l’accessorio per panini , è possibile riporlo in modo 6
che non occupi spazio:
–Attendere fino al raffreddamento dell’accessorio per panini .6
–Rimuoverlo dall’apparecchio.
–Comprimere un poco i piedini di appoggio dell’accessorio per panini 6
in modo da poterli chiudere e farli aderire.

Cassetto di raccolta delle briciole
Nel corso della tostatura, le briciole in caduta finiscono nel cassetto di raccolta
delle briciole . 0
1) Per rimuovere le briciole, estrarre il cassetto di raccolta delle briciole .0
2) Rimuovere le briciole.
3) Spingere il cassetto di raccolta delle briciole nuovamente nel tostapane, 0
fino all’inserimento percepibile.
Pulizia
PERICOLO DI SCOSSA ELETTRICA
► Prima di pulire l'apparecchio, disinserire la spina dalla presa.
Non immergere mai l'apparecchio in acqua o altri liquidi! In caso
contrario, sussiste il pericolo di morte per folgorazione.
AVVISO! PERICOLO DI LESIONI!
► Fare raffreddare il tostapane prima della pulizia. Pericolo di ustioni!
ATTENZIONE - DANNI MATERIALI!
► Non utilizzare detergenti abrasivi o corrosivi. Essi attaccano la superficie
dell'apparecchio.
■ Pulire l’apparecchio con un panno asciutto o con uno straccio leggermente
inumidito.
■ Pulire l’accessorio per panini con un panno umido.6
■ Svuotare regolarmente la cassetta di raccolta delle briciole , per evitare 0
incendi.

Conservazione
■ Pulire il tostapane come descritto al capitolo “Pulizia”.
■ Avvolgere il cavo intorno all’avvolgicavo sul lato inferiore del tostapane.9

La garanzia viene prestata in caso di vizi del materiale o di fabbricazione.

Indicações de segurança
PERIGO DE CHOQUE ELÉTRICO
► Cabos ou fichas de alimentação elétrica danificados devem
ser imediatamente substituídos por técnicos devidamente
autorizados, de modo a evitar situações de perigo.
► Utilize o aparelho apenas em espaços secos, não ao ar livre.
Nunca mergulhe o aparelho em água ou outros líquidos!
Caso contrário, existe perigo de morte por choque elétrico.
► Nunca insira talheres ou outros objetos metálicos nos com-
partimentos para torrar.
► Certifique-se de que o aparelho nunca entra em contacto com
água. Nunca utilize o aparelho perto de água ou de recipientes
contendo líquidos.
► Certifique-se de que, durante o funcionamento, o cabo de
alimentação nunca fica molhado ou húmido. Disponha o cabo
de modo a que este não fique entalado nem danificado.
► Após cada utilização, retire sempre a ficha da tomada, de
modo a evitar uma ativação inadvertida.

ATENÇÃO - PERIGO DE INCÊNDIO!
► O alimento a torrar pode incendiar-se! Por isso, nunca coloque
o aparelho na proximidade de ou por baixo de objetos
inflamáveis, especialmente cortinas ou armários suspensos.
► O aparelho não deve ser utilizado na proximidade de mate-
riais inflamáveis.
► Nunca cubra a torradeira enquanto esta se encontra em
funcionamento.
Conselhos de utilização
■ Não utilize fatias demasiado grandes ou grossas, uma vez que podem
facilmente ficar presas. Se as fatias de pão ficarem presas, desligue primeiro
a ficha da tomada. Solte as fatias de pão presas com um utensílio de madeira
não afiado (p. ex. o cabo de um pincel). Ao fazê-lo, não toque nos filamentos
de aquecimento.
■ As diferenças entre os tipos de pão, humidade e grossura das fatias
influenciam a torragem do pão. Por esta razão, o pão para torrar deve ser
conservado, se possível, numa embalagem fechada. Experimente sempre
primeiro um grau de torragem baixo.
■ Use um nível de torrar mais reduzido, caso pretenda torrar pão seco, uma
vez que o pão seco torra mais depressa do que o pão fresco.
■ Selecione um nível de torragem mais alto para pão escuro do que para
pães claros, como por exemplo pão branco.
■ Os dígitos do regulador de torragem não são indicadores de horas. 2
Servem apenas como ponto de referência para o nível de torragem.
■ Para evitar um sobreaquecimento da torradeira e obter um torrado uniforme
do pão, espere aprox. 15 segundos entre duas torragens.
■ O nível de torragem mais alto no regulador de torragem só deve ser usado 2
para fatias de pão escuro grandes. O pão claro fica queimado com este
nível de torragem e não é comestível. Além disso, pode causar a formação
de fumo. Neste caso, prima imediatamente o botão "Parar" e retire a 3
ficha da tomada.

Torrar
ATENÇÃO - PERIGO DE INCÊNDIO!
► Não cobrir o compartimento para torrar com a torradeira em funciona-7
mento. Perigo de incêndio! O aparelho pode sofrer danos irreparáveis!
NOTA
► Se colocar apenas uma fatia de pão na torradeira, rode o regulador de
torragem aprox. 1/2 - 1 nível para trás, a fim de obter o mesmo nível 2
de torragem do que com 2 fatias de pão.
1) Após o ajuste do nível de torragem pretendido, insira o pão no comparti-
mento para torrar .7
2) Pressione o botão de comando para baixo. O dispositivo de centragem 8
automática do pão centra o pão introduzido no compartimento para torrar 7.
Durante a torragem, a luz de controlo integrada no botão "Parar" está 3
acesa.
3) Quando o nível de torragem pretendido é atingido, a torradeira desliga-se
automaticamente, as fatias de pão voltam a subir e a luz de controlo apaga-se.
Interromper a torragem
Quando pretender interromper a torragem, prima o botão "Parar" . 3
A torradeira desliga-se e as fatias de pão sobem.
Função de aquecimento
A função de aquecimento permite-lhe aquecer o pão sem o torrar. Por exemplo,
quando o pão torrado tiver arrefecido novamente. O pão é apenas aquecido
brevemente.
1) Introduza o pão e pressione o botão de comando para baixo.8
2) Prima o botão "Aquecer" 4. A luz de controlo integrada acende-se.
3) Quando o pão estiver novamente quente, o aparelho desliga-se automatica-
mente e as fatias de pão voltam a subir.
NOTA
► Para voltar a desligar a função de aquecimento, prima o botão "Aquecer"
mais uma vez. A luz de comando integrada apaga-se, o processo 4
de aquecimento prossegue como processo de torragem normal.

Função de descongelamento
Através do acionamento do botão "Descongelar" , é possível descongelar 5
e torrar uma fatia de pão congelada. Deste modo, a torradeira aquece o pão
lentamente. Ao ativar a função de descongelamento obtém-se o mesmo nível de
torragem no pão congelado do que no pão normal fresco.
1) Após o ajuste do nível de torragem pretendido, insira o pão no comparti-
mento para torrar .7
2) Pressione o botão de comando para baixo.8
3) Acione o botão "Descongelar" 5. A luz de controlo integrada acende-se.
4) Quando o processo de descongelamento e torragem está terminado, a
torradeira desliga-se automaticamente, a luz de controlo integrada no
botão "Descongelar" apaga-se e as fatias de pão voltam a subir.5
NOTA
► Para voltar a desligar a função de descongelamento, prima o botão
"Descongelar" 5 mais uma vez. A luz de comando integrada apaga-se,
o processo de descongelamento prossegue como processo de torragem
normal.
Aquecer pãezinhos até ficarem estaladiços
Nunca coloque os pãezinhos diretamente na torradeira. Utilize sempre a grelha
de suporte para pãezinhos .6
1) Levante ambos os pés da grelha de suporte para pãezinhos .6
2) Coloque a grelha de suporte para pãezinhos sobre o aparelho, de 6
modo que os pés de suporte encaixem no compartimento para torrar e 7
a chapa entre os compartimentos para torrar encaixe nas saliências dos 7
pés de suporte. Deste modo, a grelha de suporte para pãezinhos fica 6
encaixada de forma segura no aparelho.
3) Coloque os pãezinhos sobre a grelha e inicie o processo de torragem. Para
este fim, coloque o regulador de torragem , no máximo, no nível 2 2.
A cor da torragem pode, no entanto, variar consoante a composição e o
tipo do pãozinho.
NOTA
► Após o processo de torragem, os pãezinhos estão muito quentes.
4) Assim que a torradeira se desligar, vire o pãozinho para torrar o outro lado
e ligue novamente a torradeira.
5) Quando já não precisar da grelha de suporte para pãezinhos , pode 6
guardá-la com economia de espaço:
–Aguarde até a grelha de suporte para pãezinhos ter arrefecido.6
–Retire-a do aparelho.

1) Remove the appliance and the operating instructions from the carton.
2) Remove all packing material.

Disposal of the packaging
The packaging protects the appliance from transport damage. The packaging
materials are selected from the point of view of their environmental friendliness
and disposal technology and are therefore recyclable.
The recirculation of packaging into the material circuit saves on raw material and
reduces the amount of waste generated. Dispose of packaging material that is
no longer needed as per the regionally established regulations.
NOTICE
► If possible preserve the appliance's original packaging during the warranty
period so that, in the event of a warranty claim, you can pack the appliance
ideally for its return.
Note the labelling on the packaging and separate the packaging material
components for disposal if necessary. The packaging material is labelled with
abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with the following meanings:

Safety instructions
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► Arrange for damaged power cables and/or plugs to be
replaced as soon as possible by a qualified specialist or by
Customer Services.
► Use the appliance only in dry indoor areas, not outdoors.
NEVER submerse the appliance in water or other
liquids! If you do, then you could receive a potentially
fatal electric shock.
► NEVER insert cutlery items or other metallic objects into the
toaster slots.
► Ensure that the appliance can never come into contact with
water. NEVER use the appliance adjacent to water or close
to vessels containing liquids.
► Ensure that the power cable never gets wet or moist when
the appliance is in use. Lay the cable such that it cannot be
clamped or otherwise damaged.
► After use, always remove the plug from the mains power
socket, this prevents the unintentional switching on of the
appliance.

► The appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved.
► Children should not play with the appliance.
► Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by
children, unless they are older than 8 years of age and are
supervised.
Children younger than 8 years of age are to be kept away
from the appliance and the power cable.
► The appliance can become hot when it is in use. Therefore,
only touch the operating elements.
► Use the appliance only on a stable, non-slippery and level
surface.
► Do not use an external timing switch or a separate remote
control system to operate the appliance.
► Unwind the power cable completely from the cable winder
before using the appliance.

► Risk of burning if you do not use standard toast bread!
Because of the smaller size or shape, there is a risk of
touching hot parts when removing the toasted bread.

► Bakery products can burn! You should therefore NEVER locate
the appliance close to or underneath inflammable objects,
especially not under curtains or suspended cupboards.
► This appliance may not be used in close vicinity to flammable
material.
► NEVER cover the toaster when it is in use.
Tips for use
■ Avoid using slices that are too big or too thick, as these can easily become
jammed in the appliance. Should slices of bread become jammed, first
disconnect the plug from the mains power socket. Release jammed slices
of bread with a blunt wooden object (e.g. a wooden spatula or spoon).
Thereby, do NOT touch the heater elements.
■ Differences in bread sorts, moisture content and the thickness of individual
slices influence the browning of the toast. Therefore the bread for toasting
should be kept in sealed packaging until required. Always initially try out
a lower level of browning.
■ Use a lower level of browning if you are toasting dry bread, as dry bread
browns faster than fresh bread.
■ Select a higher level of browning for dark bread than for light bread, for
example, wheat bread.
■ The numbers on the toasting dial are not time indications. They serve 2
only as a guide for the browning.
■ To avoid an overheating of the toaster and to obtain an even browning
of bread, wait for about 15 seconds between two toasting processes.
■ You should only use the highest level on the toasting dial for large slices 2
of dark bread. With this browning level light bread will scorch and become
inedible. In addition, it may cause the generation of smoke. If this occurs,
press the button “Stop” immediately and disconnect the power cable 3
from the mains power socket.

Setting up
CAUTION – RISK OF FIRE
► You should therefore NEVER locate the appliance close to or underneath
inflammable objects, especially not under curtains or suspended cupboards.
■ Unwind the cable completely from around the cable winder and lead it 9
through the cable clamp .1
■ Place the appliance on a level and heat-resistant surface.
■ Insert the plug into a mains power socket.
NOTICE
► When the toaster is not in use, always remove the plug from the mains power
socket. This is the only way to ensure that the appliance is current-free.
Before taking into use
■ Operate the toaster without bread for 3 times at the maximum browning
level “6“.
■ Afterwards, clean the toaster as described in the chapter “Cleaning”.
NOTICE
► The operating button only engages when the cable is connected to a 8
mains power socket.
► With the first usage a slight smell can arise (minimal smoke development is
also possible). This is normal and dissipates after a short time. Provide for
sufficient ventilation. For example, open a window.
Operation
Adjusting the browning level
The desired level of browning, from “light” (1) to “dark” (6), can be adjusted
infinitely with the toasting dial . 2

► Do not cover the toasting slots when the appliance is in operation. 7
There will be a risk of fire! The appliance could be irreparably damaged!
NOTICE
► If you only want to put one piece of toast into the toaster, turn the toasting
dial down by approx. 1/2 - 1 level to achieve the same level of brown-2
ing as with two pieces of toast.
1) After setting the desired browning level, insert the bread into the toaster
slots .7
2) Press the operating button downwards. The automatic bread centring 8
device centres the inserted bread in the toaster slots . During the toasting 7
process the control lamp integrated in the “Stop” button glows.3
3) When the desired level of browning has been reached the toaster switches
itself off automatically, the slices are ejected to the top and the control lamp
goes out.
Interrupting the toasting process
If you wish to interrupt the toasting procedure, press the button “Stop” . 3
The toaster switches itself off and the bread slices are ejected upwards.
Warming function
The warming function enables you to warm bread without browning it. As
an example, for toast that has gone cold. The bread is only briefly warmed.
1) Insert the bread and press the operating button downwards.8
2) Press the “Warm up” button . The integrated control lamp lights up.4
3) When the bread has been reheated, the appliance switches itself off
automatically and the slices are ejected upwards.
NOTE
► Press the button "Warm up" button 4 again to switch off the warming
function. The integrated control lamp goes out and the warming process
switches to a normal toasting process.

Defrost function
By pressing the button “Defrosting” 5, also frozen bread can be thawed
and toasted. With this, the toaster slowly warms the bread. Activating the defrost
function will allow the frozen bread to achieve the same browning level as when
you toast fresh bread.
1) After setting the desired browning level, insert the bread into the toaster
slots .7
2) Press the operating button downwards.8
3) Press the button “Defrosting” 5. The integrated control lamp glows.
4) When the defrosting and toasting process is finished, the toaster switches itself
off automatically, the control lamp integrated in the button “Defrosting” 5
goes out and the bread slices are ejected to the top.
NOTE
► Press the "Defrost" button 5 again to switch off the defrost function.
The integrated control lamp goes out and the defrost process switches to
a normal toasting process.
Crisping bread rolls
Never lay bread rolls directly onto the toaster, always use the bread roll rack .6
1) Fold out the two feet of the bread roll rack .6
2) Place the bread roll rack onto the appliance so that the feet protrude into 6
the toasting slots and the bar between the toasting slots fits into the 7 7
arched sections on the feet. In this position, the bread roll rack sits on the 6
appliance stably.
3) Place the bread rolls onto the rack and start the toasting procedure. Turn the
toasting dial up to level 2 2, at most. The actual level of browning can
vary depending on the composition and type of bread roll.
NOTE
► After toasting, the rolls will be very hot.
4) As soon as the toaster switches itself off, turn the rolls over to crisp the other
side and then switch the toaster back on.
5) When you are finished with the bread roll rack , you can fold it for space-6
saving storage:
–Wait until the bread roll rack has cooled down.6
–Remove it from the appliance.
–Gently push the feet of the bread roll rack inwards so they fold in and 6
lie flat.

Crumb tray
When toasting, crumbs that fall from the bread are collected in the crumb tray 0.
1) To empty crumbs from the crumb tray , simply pull it out.0
2) Tip out the crumbs.
3) Slide the crumb tray back into the toaster so that it palpably engages. 0
Cleaning

► Disconnect the plug from the mains power socket before cleaning the
appliance.
NEVER submerse the appliance in water or other liquids! If you do,

► Allow the toaster to cool before cleaning it. Risk of Burns!
CAUTION - PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents. These can damage
the upper surfaces of the appliance.
■ Clean the appliance housing only with a dry or lightly moistened cloth.
■ Wipe the bread roll rack off with a damp cloth.6
■ To avoid the risk of fire, empty the crumb tray at regular intervals.0

Storage
■ Clean the toaster as described in the chapter “Cleaning”.
■ Wrap the power cable around the cable winder on the underside of the 9
toaster:

Disposal
Do not dispose of the appliance in your normal domestic waste.
This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive
2012/19/EU (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal centre or at your
community waste facility. Observe the currently applicable regulations.
In case of doubt, please contact your waste disposal centre.
Your local community or municipal authorities can provide information on how to
dispose of the worn-out appliance.

Dear Customer,
This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the date of purchase. If this product
has any faults, you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your statutory rights
are not restricted in any way by the warranty described below.
Warranty conditions
The validity period of the warranty starts from the date of purchase. Please keep
your original receipt in a safe place. This document will be required as proof of
purchase.
If any material or production fault occurs within three years of the date of purchase
of the product, we will either repair or replace the product for you at our discretion.
This warranty service is dependent on you presenting the defective appliance
and the proof of purchase (receipt) and a short written description of the fault
and its time of occurrence.
If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be repaired or
replaced by us. The repair or replacement of a product does not signify the begin-
ning of a new warranty period.
Warranty period and statutory claims for defects
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs effected under the warranty.
This also applies to replaced and repaired components. Any damage and defects
present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking.
Repairs carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall be subject to a fee.

Scope of the warranty
This appliance has been manufactured in accordance with strict quality guidelines
and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.
The warranty covers material faults or production faults. The warranty does not
extend to product parts subject to normal wear and tear or fragile parts such as
switches, batteries, baking moulds or parts made of glass.
The warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged, improperly used
or improperly maintained. The directions in the operating instructions for the product
regarding proper use of the product are to be strictly followed. Uses and actions
that are discouraged in the operating instructions or which are warned against
must be avoided.
This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes.
The warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use
of force and modifications / repairs which have not been carried out by one of
our authorised Service centres.

Entsorgung der Verpackung
Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungs-
materialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichts-
punkten ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.
Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoffe und

► Röstgut kann sich entzünden! Stellen Sie das Gerät deshalb
niemals in der Nähe oder unter brennbaren Gegenständen
ab, insbesondere nicht unter Gardinen oder Hängeschränke.
► Das Gerät darf nicht in der Nähe von brennbaren Materialien
verwendet werden.
► Decken Sie nie den Toaster ab, solange er in Betrieb ist.
Tipps zum Gebrauch
■ Verwenden Sie keine zu großen oder zu dicken Scheiben, da sich diese
leicht verklemmen. Sollten sich Brotscheiben verklemmen, ziehen Sie zuerst
den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose. Lösen Sie verklemmte Brotscheiben
mit einem stumpfen Holzstab (z. B. einem Pinselstiel). Dabei die Heizdrähte
nicht berühren.
■ Unterschiede in der Brotsorte, Feuchte und Dicke der einzelnen Scheiben
beeinflussen die Bräunung des Toastbrotes. Daher sollte das Toastbrot mög-
lichst in einer geschlossenen Verpackung aufbewahrt werden. Probieren Sie
immer zunächst einen niedrigeren Bräunungsgrad aus.
■ Verwenden Sie eine niedrigere Bräunungsstufe, wenn Sie trockenes Brot
bräunen, da trockenes Brot schneller bräunt als frisches Brot.
■ Wählen Sie für dunkles Brot einen höheren Bräunungsgrad als für helle
Brote, beispielsweise Weißbrot.
■ Die Ziffern des Bräunungsreglers 2 sind keine Zeitangaben. Sie dienen
lediglich als Anhaltspunkt für den Bräunungsgrad.
■ Um eine Überhitzung des Toasters zu vermeiden und eine gleichmäßige
Bräunung des Brotes zu erhalten, warten Sie zwischen zwei Toastvorgängen
ca. 15 Sekunden.
■ Die höchste Stufe am Bräunungsregler 2 sollten Sie nur für große Schei-
ben dunklen Brotes verwenden. Helles Brot wird mit dieser Bräunungsstufe
anbrennen und ungenießbar. Außerdem kann es zu Rauchentwicklung kom-
men. Drücken Sie in diesem Fall sofort die Taste „Stop“ und ziehen 3
Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.
