CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Unplug the power cable from the power outlet.
2. Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive cleaners,
scouring pad or steel wool, which damages the appliance.
3. Remember to clean the filter at intervals. For easier cleaning, detach the filter
by pressing down the tab of filter inside the appliance and then replace it after
cleaning.
4. For removing limescale and mineral build-up, use a tested descaler for household
appliances. Follow the instructions on the product.
5. Alternatively, you may follow below instructions using white vinegar.
- Fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar, then add water until the bottom of kettle is
completely covered. Leave the solution in the kettle overnight.
- Throw away the mixture, then fill the appliance with clean water to its MAX capacity.
- Boil the MAX capacity of water
- Carefully throw away the hot water.
- Repeat the previous steps to ensure the appliance is disinfected properly.
