Preface

Thank you for purchasing this brand new LM585R laser level. In order to use this product

safely and correctly, please read this manual thoroughly, especially the Safety Instructions

part.

After reading this manual, it is recommended to keep the manual at an easily accessible place,

preferably close to the device, for future reference.

Limited Warranty and Liability

Uni-Trend guarantees that the product is free from any defect in material and workmanship

within one year from the purchase date. This warranty does not apply to damages caused by

accident, negligence, misuse, modification, contamination and improper handling. The dealer

shall not be entitled to give any other warranty on behalf of Uni-Trend. If you need warranty

service within the warranty period, please contact your seller directly.

This warranty is the only compensation you can obtain. Uni-Trend will not be responsible for

any special, indirect, incidental or subsequent damage or loss caused by any reason or

speculation. As some areas or countries do not allow limitations on implied warranties and

incidental or subsequent damage, the above limitation of liability and stipulation may not apply

to you.

 In the manual mode, the out-of-range sensing will be turned off. The laser line in this

mode cannot be used as a horizontal/vertical reference line.

 Keep the instrument out of the reach of children.

 Do not short-circuit the battery contacts or throw the battery into fire.

 Do not expose the meter to sunlight or high temperatures. The meter shell and some

parts are made of plastic, which may be damaged in high temperature environments.

 Clean the outer plastic parts with a damp cloth. It is not recommended to clean it with

dissolvent. Wipe away moisture with a dry soft cloth before putting the meter into the box.

 Store the meter properly in its pouch or package.

 Do not dispose the meter into household trash.

 Dispose the battery or related electronic waste according to local laws and WEE E (Waste

Electrical and Electronic Equipment) rules.
