Before installation, please make sure that you have re-
ceived the following:
• 1 x EKI-2716GI Ethernet Switch
• 1 x DlN-rail mounting bracket with 4 screws (M3 x 5L)
• 2 x Wall mounting brackets with 4 screws (M3 x 5L)

The EKI-2716GI industrial Ethernet switch provides 16 x
10/100/1000Mcopperports,o󰀨eringversatileconnectivity
for diverse applications. Users can conveniently enable or
disable Quality of Service (QoS), broadcast storm protec-
tion, and VLAN settings using DIP switches. Equipped with
12~48 VDC redundant power inputs and DIN-rail mounting,
these switches are designed for reliable performance in
industrial environments. With EMC Level 4 protection, it
resists electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable opera-
tion even in harsh conditions.

Switch the DIP to the ‘right’
position to activate VLAN Mode
2, 2-Grouping Mode.
This divides all ports into two
separate groups, ensuring no
interconnection between them.
Group 1 comprises Ports 1-8,
while Group 2 comprises Ports
9-16.
The EKI-2716GI switch supports dual +12~48 V
DC
power in-
puts. For operation, connecting either power V1 or V2 to the
switchissu󰀩cient.Ifbothsetsareconnected,itenhances
redundancy. In the event of a power resource failure in one
set, it will automatically switch to the other set of power
resources.
1. Insert the positive and negative wires into the V+ and V-
contacts on the terminal block connector.
2. Tighten the wire-clamps screws to prevent the DC wires
coming loose.
Warning: This product is intended to be supplied by an UL
certiedpowersupplyorDCsourcesuitablefor
use at minimum Tma 75°C whose output meets
SELV or ES1 and is rated 12-48 Vdc, 1.2 A min.,
if need further assistance, please contact Advan-
tech for further information.
Warning: Ensure that the voltage of the power source is
correct before connecting the equipment to a
power outlet. By means of a power cord connect-
ed to a socket-outlet with earthing connection.
Warning: Never open the equipment. For safety reasons,
theequipmentshouldbeopenedonlybyqualied
skilled person.
