Digital Waterproof Thermometer

INSTRUCTION SHEET

BEFORE USE:

1. Carefully remove plastic strip from battery compartment.

This is included to preserve battery life.

2. Remove film from LCD display.

INSTRUCTION:

1. Press the ON/OFF button to turn on. Hold the ON/OFF

button for 4 seconds to turn off (the thermometer will

automatically turn off after 10 minutes of inactivity).

2. After turning on, press the button again to ON/OFF

activate the backlight feature. Press again to turn off the

backlight feature. The backlight feature will automatically

turn off after 10 seconds to save battery.

3. Select temperature mode by pressing the button.°F/°C

4. Insert probe at least 1" into food for an accurate reading.

HOLD MODE:

1. While the probe is in food, press the button to HOLD

hold the current temperature reading. “HOLD” will appear on

the screen.

2. Press the button again to exit the hold mode.HOLD

MIN / MAX MODE:

1. Press the button to display the highest MAX/MIN

temperature stored. “MAX” will appear on the display.

2. Press the button again to display the lowest MAX/MIN

temperature stored. “MIN” will appear on the display.

Press the MAX/MIN button again to exit the max/min mode.

4. To reset the max memory, press and hold the MAX/MIN

button for 4 seconds when in the max mode. Press the

button again to enter the min mode and MAX/MIN

repeat steps to reset the min memory.

CALIBRATION MODE:

1. Insert the probe into a mixture of 3 parts ice and 1 part water.

2. Press the button for 4 seconds and release the CAL CAL

button when the temperature reads 32.0°F / 0˚C.

The calibration is complete.

Note: This function will only work if the temperature

is between 30 and 34 degrees Fahrenheit, or -1 and 1

degrees Celsius. If the temperature is outside of this range,

“ERR” will display for 2 seconds, and then return to the

temperature mode.

CLEANING AND CARE:

1. This thermometer is waterproof with a rating of IP67.

For long-lasting use, hand wash or place in a low

temperature dishwasher.

2. Do not leave in an oven during cooking.

3. Magnet and lanyard included for storage.

BATTERY INFORMATION:

1. (1) CR2032 3V lithium battery is included. To change the

battery, use a coin to turn the cover counterclockwise and

align the arrow on the cover with the arrow next to the

unlock symbol.

2. Remove the battery cover and replace the old battery with

a new battery, + side facing up.

3. Return the battery cover with the arrow aligned with the

arrow next to the unlock symbol.

4. Use a coin to turn the cover clockwise and align the arrow

with the arrow next to the lock symbol.

Note: If the battery cover is not closed completely, water can

enter the battery compartment and cause the thermometer to

not function properly.
