ASSEMBLY
This set is compatible with a wide range of BMW vehicles. For step-by-step instructions on how to correctly
remove your vehicle's original speakers, please contact your BMW service center. As an example for all
models, the following instructions are for the ATS-B100C model in a BMW F30. For the ATS-B100C a
tweeter mount in the mirror triangle is required. You can obtain this component from your BMW service
workshop if it is not already in your vehicle.
Using a plastic wedge, carefully pry out the trim strip on the door handle. Start at the bottom end and work
your way forward piece by piece. The trim strip has a hook at the back end in the shape of an "L". There-
fore, first pull the molding towards you until all the clips are released and then pull it forward to be able
to remove the molding completely. Now loosen the two screws located at the red arrows in the picture.
In the last step, use a wide plastic wedge to carefully pry the trim off the door panel. It is best to start at the
bottom and work your way up carefully. Also pull the trim in the window area away from the glass towards
you to release the metal clips. Once all the plugs and clips are released, slide the trim up past the door pin.
If you wish to remove the trim completely, remove the bowden cable from the door opener and unlock
the power window console connector.
