that should be followed during installation and maintenance of the ATS.
The EATON ATS models that are covered in this manual are intended for installation
in an environment within 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F) and free of conductive contaminant.

Important safety notes
• Onlyqualiedpersonnelcanservicethisequipment.
• Followthefollowingprecautionswhenworkingonthisunit.
- Removewatches,rings,orothermetalobjects.
- Usetoolswithinsulatedhandles.
• Examinethepackingcontainer.Notifythecarrierimmediatelyifanydamageispresent.
• Donotdisassembletheunit.
• Do not operate the unit near water or in an area with excessive humidity.
• Keepliquidandforeignobjectsfromgettinginsidetheunit.
• Donotoperatetheunitclosetogasorre.
• Verifywhetherthebranchcircuitbreakerorfuseonservicefeediscorrect.
• Verify line voltage requirements and the supplied line voltage prior to installation.
• Thisunitissuppliedfrommultiplesources,disconnectallsourcesbeforeservicing.

• Checkthatpowercords,plugs,andoutletsareingoodcondition.
• RAL equipment:"EquipmentintendedforinstallationinRestrictedAccessLocation".
Warning
• Intendedtobeconnectedtocomputerload.
• Nottobeconnectedtoinductiveloadorwith>3:1crestfactorload.
