Your kit includes everything you need to decorate 15 fabulous

bracelets. Simply wind yards of ribbon, satin cord, floss, and

beautiful trims around 5 chunky plastic bracelets and 10 skinny

metal bracelets. Wear them by the bunches, share them, or trade

them with your friends!

Work with clean hands on a clean work surface. Although the glue is washable, it’s a good

idea to keep a damp paper towel handy for quick cleanup.

Since the ribbon is satin, any extra glue will leave a dark spot. Use the smallest amount of

glue necessary for holding the ribbons in place. Wipe off any extra glue right away with your

finger or a damp cloth.

Now comes the fun part – think how you would

like to decorate your bracelets. Be creative and

have fun. For design ideas, refer to the pictures on

the box.

FUNCTIONAL SHARP EDGE

Note – Younger children may need help wrapping the bracelets and working with the

adhesive tape and glue.

Keep a roll of tape handy. The tape can be used to hold the ribbons in place while you wait

for the glue to dry.

Note - To keep your bracelets looking great avoid getting them wet. Save any leftover craft

materials for touch up and repairs.

1. Place the adhesive strip around the outside of your

bracelet. Cut off any extra using your scissors (A).

Use the rhinestone trims to add sparkle to

your bracelets. After wrapping your

bracelet, wrap a piece of rhinestone trim

around your bracelet, cutting it to size.

Attach the trim to your bracelet using the

double sided adhesive.

You can also attach the rhinestone trim by wrapping

between the stones with thin ribbon or floss.

The rhinestone trims can also be glued directly onto the colorful bracelets.

Once you master the basics, experiment and see how many different patterns you can create.

This technique requires a little bit more skill. For help, refer to the step-by-step pictures.

Hold it in place for a few moments until

the glue has set or use tape, then set it

aside to dry.

Experiment by mixing different ribbon

colors, satin floss, rainbow, and metallic cord.

Attach the adhesive strip to the outside of a large bracelet.

Peel back the release paper and place the ribbon on the

adhesive tape vertically. Leave the extra ribbon hanging.

Lay a second piece of ribbon horizontally, over the first

layer of ribbon. Secure with a dot of glue. Wrap the

vertical ribbon over the horizontal ribbon.

Continue until you have covered the entire bracelet. Secure the ends of your ribbon with

glue. Hold it for a few moments or use tape, then set aside to dry.

Try using two horizontal ribbons instead of one.

Alternate your weave, going over and under each

of the ribbons. When you are finished, you will end

up with a checkerboard pattern that looks like this.

2. Peel back a small amount of the release paper and

stick the end of your ribbon to the adhesive (B).

3. Wind the ribbon around the bracelet tightly,

exposing the adhesive as you go (C).

4. When you

reach the end,

cut the ribbon

and glue it to

the inside of

the bracelet (D).

Continue wrapping, weaving it over and under the

horizontal ribbon as shown.
