17mm and 19mm open-end wrenches, Shimano® TL-PD40 pedal tool or similar
Please ask for the assistance of a specialized mechanic. An incorrect installation may
lead to accidents and possible damages to things and/or people.
Disassembling the Shimano® pedal body
Unscrew the axle from the Shimano® pedal body by turning it counter-clockwise for the
left pedal (L) and clockwise for the right pedal (R).
PD-R8000 and PD-6800: use the 17mm open-end wrench
PD-R7000, PD-R550 and PD-R540: use the Shimano® TL-PD40 tool or similar
Warning: the rotation direction is different from right and left pedal.
Remove the axle off the Shimano® pedal body.
Insert the right/left axle with the Assioma®-Shi sensor in the corresponding right/left
Shimano® pedal body.
Do not apply lubricating grease.
The left axle with the Assioma®-Shi sensor is stamped “L”, while the right one i s stamped
“R”. The left adapter is marked with a round groove as shown in the gure. There is no
such mark on the right adapter.
Warning: the rotation direction is different from right and left pedal.
We suggest applying a tightening torque between 8 and 10 Nm.
Screw the adapter into the Shimano® pedal body rst by hand by turning it in the
direction indicated (see gure).
Finally, tighten the adapter into the Shimano® pedal body with a 19mm wrench.
Final result.
Read the Assioma® manual for installing the product on the bike.
Assioma® DUO-Shi needs an initial mechanical adjustment on the pedal bodies.
To do so, perform a long ride including some power peaks. This aims at guaranteeing
maximum precision in all your future rides.

首先用手依據圖片顯示的方向將接頭旋入 Shimano® 踏板本體。
最後，以19mm的開口扳手將接頭鎖緊於 Shimano® 踏板本體內。
大功告成。

シマノペダルの分解
Shimano®ペダルボディからアクスルを取り外します。左ペダルは反時計回り、右ペダルは
時計回りに回します。
PD-R8000 とPD-6800: 17㎜レンチを使用します。
PD-R7000、PD-R550、PD-R540: Shimano®TL-PD40または同規格の工具を使用します。
警告:右ペダルと左ペダルでは、ネジ回転方向が異なります。
アクスルをShimano®ペダルボディからはずします。
Assioma®-Shiセンサーを取り付けた左右のアクスルを、対応する左右のShimano®ペダル
ボディに挿入します。
グリス・オイル等を塗布しないでください。
Assioma®-Shiセンサー付きの左の車軸には “L “の刻印があり、右の車軸には “R “の刻印
があります。左のアダプターには、図のような丸い溝が付いています。右のアダプターには
そのようなマークはありません。
右ペダルと左ペダルでは、ネジ回転方向が異なります。
締め付けトルクは8～10Nmを目安にしてください。
アダプタをShimano®ペダル本体にねじ込む際、まず手で図の方向に回転させます
（図参照）。
最後に19mmのレンチを使ってアダプターをShimano®ペダルボディに締め付けます。
組付け完了です。
組付け完了後、Assioma®ユーザーマニュアルに従って自転車への取り付けを行ってくだ
さい。
またAssioma® DUO-Shi組付け後、初回の組付け・調整確認の必要があります。
そのため、数回のスプリント等を含めたロングライドを行ってください。
これはその後のライドで最大の測定精度を確保するためでもあります。

Zerlegung des Shimano®- Pedalkörpers
Schrauben Sie die Shimano®-Achse. Bei dem linken Pedal (L) lösen Sie die Achse gegen
den Uhrzeigersinn, bei dem rechten (R) im Uhrzeigersinn.
PD-R8000 und PD-6800: Benutzen Sie den 17-mm-Maulschlüssel
PD-R7000, PD-R550 und PD-R540: Benutzen Sie das Shimano® TL-PD40 Pedalachse-
Werkzeug oder ein ähnliches
Achtung: Die Drehrichtung am rechten und linken Pedal ist unterschiedlich.
Entfernen Sie die Achse vom Shimano®-Pedalkörper.
Stecken Sie die rechte/linke Achse mit dem Assioma®-Shi-Sensor in den entsprechenden
rechten/linken Shimano®-Pedalkörper.
Schmieren Sie nicht das Gewinde mit Fett.
Die linke Achse mit dem Assioma®-Shi-Sensor ist durch den Buchstaben “L”
gekennzeichnet, die rechte mit “R”. Der linke Adapter ist durch eine kreisförmige Rille
gekennzeichnet (siehe Abbildung). Der rechte Adapter hingegen hat keine Rille.
Achtung: Die Drehrichtung am rechten und linken Pedal ist unterschiedlich.
Das erforderliche Anzugsdrehmoment liegt bei 8-10 Nm.
Schrauben Sie zuerst das Shimano®-Adapterkit mit der Hand auf den Shimano®-Pedalkörper
(siehe Abbildung).
Ziehen Sie nun den Adapter mit dem 19-mm-Maulschlüssel auf dem Shimano®-Pedalkörper
fest.
Endergebnis.
Zur Montage der Powermeter an Ihrem Fahrrad beachten Sie bitte die Gebrauchsanleitung
der Assioma® Powermeter.
Assioma® DUO-Shi benötigt eine mechanische Anpassung an den Pedalkörpern.
Führen Sie dazu eine lange Fahrt mit einigen Leistungsspitzen durch. Dies, um maximale
Präzision bei all Ihren zukünftigen Fahrten zu garantieren.

Désassemblage du corps de la pédale Shimano®
Dévisser l’axe du corps de la pédale Shimano® dans le sens antihoraire pour la pédale
gauche (L), horaire pour la droite (R).
PD-R8000 et PD-6800: utiliser la clé à fourche de 17mm
PD-R7000, PD-R550 et PD-R540: utiliser la clé à cone Shimano® TL-PD40 ou similaire
Faire très attention au sens de rotation en fonction de la pédale gauche ou droite.
Retirer l’axe du corps de la pédale Shimano®.
Insérer l’axe avec capteur Assioma®-Shi droit/gauche dans le corps de la pédale
correspondant Shimano® droit/gauche.
N’appliquez pas de la graisse lubriante.
L’axe avec capteur Assioma®-Shi est identié par la lettre “L” pour le gauche, “R” pour le
droit. L’adaptateur gauche est identié par une rainure circulaire comme indiqué sur la
gure. Ce signe n’est pas présent dans l’adaptateur droit.
Faire très attention au sens de rotation en fonction de la pédale gauche ou droite.
Il est conseillé d’appliquer une force de 8-10 Nm.
Au début visser manuellement l’adaptateur dans le corps de la pédale Shimano® dans le
sens indiqué (voir gure).
À la n serrer l’adaptateur dans le corps de la pédale Shimano® avec la clé de 19mm.
Résultat nal.
Voir le manuel Assioma® pour l’installation du produit sur le vélo.
Assioma® DUO-Shi a besoin d’une stabilisation mécanique initiale sur les corps de pédale.
Pour ce faire, effectuez une longue sortie en vélo, y compris des pics de puissance. Cela vise à
garantir une précision maximale dans tous vos sorties futures.

Disassemblaggio del corpo pedale Shimano®
Svitare il perno dal corpo pedale Shimano® in senso antiorario per il pedale sinistro (L),
orario per il destro (R).
PD-R8000 e PD-6800: usare la chiave da 17mm
PD-R7000, PD-R550 e PD-R540: usare la chiave Shimano® TL-PD40 o simile
Prestare molta attenzione al verso di rotazione a seconda del pedale sinistro o destro.
Slare il perno dal corpo pedale Shimano®.
Inserire il perno con sensore Assioma®-Shi destro/sinistro nel corrispondente corpo
pedale Shimano® destro/sinistro.
Non applicare grasso lubricante.
Il perno con sensore Assioma®-Shi è identicato dalla lettera “L” per il sinistro, “R” per il
destro. L’adattatore sinistro è identicato da una scanalatura circolare come indicato in
gura. Tale segno non è presente nell’adattatore destro.
Prestare molta attenzione al verso di rotazione a seconda del pedale sinistro o destro.
Si consiglia di applicare una forza di 8-10 Nm.
Inizialmente avvitare l’adattatore a mano nel corpo pedale Shimano®, seguendo il senso
indicato (vedi gura).
Inne serrare l’adattatore nel corpo pedale Shimano® con una chiave da 19mm.
Risultato nale.
Consultare il manuale Assioma® per l’installazione del prodotto sulla bici.
Assioma® DUO-Shi ha bisogno di un’iniziale assestamento meccanico nei corpi pedale.

Desmontaje del cuerpo de pedal Shimano®
Desenroscar el eje del cuerpo de pedal Shimano® en el sentido contrario al de las
agujas del reloj para el pedal izquierdo (L) y en el sentido de las agujas del reloj para el
derecho (R).
PD-R8000 y PD-6800: utilizar la llave de 17mm
PD-R7000, PD-R550 y PD-R540: utilizar la llave Shimano® TL-PD40 o parecida
Atención: el sentido de rotación cambia dependiendo del pedal izquierdo o derecho .
Quitar el eje del cuerpo de pedal Shimano®.
Introducir el eje con sensor Assioma®-Shi derecho/izquierdo en el respectivo cuerpo de
pedal Shimano® derecho/izquierdo.
No aplicar grasa lubricante.
El eje con sensor Assioma®-Shi está marcado con la letra “L” para el izquierdo, “R” para el
derecho. El adaptador izquierdo se reconoce por una ranura circular como indicado en la
gura. Esta no se encuentra en el adaptador derecho.
Atención: el sentido de rotación cambia dependiendo del pedal izquierdo o derecho.
Aconsejamos apretar con una fuerza de 8-10 Nm.
Al principio enroscar manualmente el adaptador en el cuerpo de pedal Shimano® según
el sentido indicado (véase gura).
Finalmente apretar el adaptador en el cuerpo de pedal Shimano® con una llave de 19 mm.
Resultado nal.
Consultar el manual Assioma® para montar el producto en la bici.
Assioma® DUO-Shi necesita de un alineamiento mecánico con los cuerpos de pedal, que se
realiza a través de una salida en bici larga, con algunos picos de potencia. Esto está nalizado a
garantizar la máxima precisión en las siguientes salidas.
