4.4. Automatische Bluetooth®Verbindung
(nach bereits erfolgtem Pairing)

4. Mise en service et fonctionnement

• Appuyez sur l’interrupteur de mise sous/hors tension

sous tension.

4. Puesta en marcha y funcionamiento
4.1. Encendido
• Pulse y mantenga pulsado el interruptor on/off (1)
durante aprox. 4 seg. para encender el altavoz.

4. Getting Started and Operation
4.1. Turning on the product
• Press and hold the on/off button (1) for approx. 4
seconds to turn on the speaker.

4. Inbetriebnahme und Betrieb
4.1. Einschalten
• Drücken und halten Sie den Ein-/ Ausschalter (1) für
ca. 4 Sek., um den Lautsprecher einzuschalten.
• Ein Signalton bestätigt die Betriebsbereitschaft, die
LED-Anzeige (2) blinkt abwechselnd t und grün.ro
4.2. Ausschalten
• Drücken und halten Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter (1) für
ca. 4 Sek., um den Lautsprecher auszuschalten.
• Ein Signalton bestätigt den Abschaltvorgang, die
LED-Anzeige (2) blinkt t bevor sie erlischt.ro
Note – Automatic power off
• Note that the speaker will automatically
turn off after 10 minutes without action (no
audio playback/no Bluetooth ®function). The

4.3. Bluetooth ®pairing
Note
• Check whether your mobile device (MP3
player, mobile phone, etc.) is Bluetooth®
capable.
• The functions described in this section are
only available for Bluetooth ®
-capable terminal
devices.
• Note that the maximum nge for Bluetoothra ®
is 10 metres without obstacles such as walls,
people, etc.
• Make sure that your Bluetooth®-capable terminal
device is on and Bluetooth®is activated.
• Make sure that your Bluetooth®-capable terminal
device is visible for other Bluetooth ®devices.
• Make sure that the speaker is located within the
Bluetooth®range of max. 10 metres.
• Turn on the speaker as described in 4.1 rning onTu
the product.
• The speaker automatically searches for a connection.
• Open the Bluetooth®settings on your terminal device
and wait until “Hama ua Jam” appears in the listAq
of Bluetooth®devices found.
• Select “Hama ua Jam” and wait until a toneAq
sounds and the speaker is listed as connected in the
Bluetooth®settings on your terminal device. The LED
indicator (2) now lights up steady green.
• Start and end audioplayback on your terminal device.
Note – Bluetooth ®password
Some devices quire a password to connect tore
another Bluetooth®device.
• To connect to the loudspeaker, enter the
password 0000 when prompted to enter from
your terminal.
Note – Impaired connection
After a successful initial connection of the
loudspeaker and the terminal, the connection is
made automatically. If the Bluetooth®connection
does not cover automatically, check the following:re
• In the Bluetooth®settings of the terminal,
check whether Hama ua Jam is connected.Aq
If not, peat the steps under Bluetoothre ®initial
connection.
• Check that the equipment and the speakers
are less than 10 meters apart. If not, ducere
the distance of the devices.
• Check whether obstacles affect nge. If so,ra
position the devices closer together.
4.4. Automatic Bluetooth®connection
(after successful pairing)
• Make sure that your Bluetooth®-capable terminal
device is on and Bluetooth®is activated.
• Make sure that your Bluetooth®-capable terminal
device is visible for other Bluetooth ®devices.
• Make sure that the speaker is located within the
Bluetooth®range of max. 10 metres.
• Turn on the speaker as described in 4.1 rningTu
on the product.
• A sound signals that the connection has been
automatically established. The LED indicator (2)
lights up steady green.
• Start and end audio playback on your terminal
device.
4.5. Hands-free function
You can use the speaker as a hands-free set for your
mobile phone. r this function, the mobile phone mustFo
be connected to the speaker via Bluetooth®.
• Make sure that your mobile phone is connected to
the Bluetooth®speaker.
• If your mobile phone ceives a call, press the on/offre
button (1) to accept it.
• Press the on/off button (1) again to end the call.
Note – Call quality
• To increase the call quality, make sure that you
are near the speaker with your mobile phone
during the call.
4.6. Battery charging function
Note
• During the ing process, do not under anycharg
circumstances expose e product toth water.
• Open the closure of the Micro-USB port (4).
• Connect the included USB charging cable to the
speaker’s Micro-USB port (4).
• Connect the unused plug on the USB cable to an
available USB port on your computer or another
suitable USB device.
• The LED indicator (2) lights up in d during activere
charging. When the battery is fully charged, the dre
LED indicator (2) goes out.
4.7. Using the flotation ring
Note
• Carefully seal the Micro-USB port to make sure
that the product is water-tight.
• Note that the presence of water may affect the
range and tone of the speaker.
• Put the deated otation ring over the speaker and
position it around the middle.
• Now inate the otation ring.
• The speaker can now oat in water.
5. Care and Maintenance
• Make sure that water does not get into the product.
