19" 8-WAY LIGHT SWITCHBOX
EXPLANATION OF SIGNS
The triangle containing a lightning symbol is used to indicate whenever your health is at risk (due to
electrocution, for example).
An exclamation mark in a triangle indicates particular risks in handling or operating the appliance.
Accordance with the requirements of UK standard
Class I protection requires an earth connection
The product is for indoor use only
SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS
• Carefully read the safety instructions, which contain important information about installation, operation and
maintenance.
• As soon as you receive the product, open the carton and check that the contents are complete and in good
condition.
• For indoor use in a dry place only!
• Only connect the product to an earthed mains outlet.
• To avoid risk of 󰊟re or electric shock, do not expose this product to rain or moisture.
• Make sure that no 󰊠ammable objects are near the product during operation.
• Do not connect appliances with a power rating of more than 350W.
• The cumulative power of all connected appliances must not exceed 3500W.
• Never use a cascade connection.
• Do not leave the product within the reach of children.
• Do not connect appliances that are old or have damaged plugs.
• When using, unwind the cable completely. Never leave the cable rolled up.
• Unplug the product from the mains before any operation or maintenance.
• In case of malfunction, switch o󰊞 the product immediately and disconnect it from the mains.
• Do not touch any electrical wires during operation, as high voltages can cause electrocution.
• Use an appropriate cord o󰊞ering the necessary safety features to connect the product.
• Do not modify the product. Any modi󰊟cation may lead to short circuits, 󰊟re, electrocution, etc. The guarantee
does not cover damage caused by opening the casing, repairs or unauthorised modi󰊟cations to the product.
• Make sure that the power cord is never crushed or damaged.
• If the power cord is damaged, have it replaced by a professional. The replacement cord must have the same
characteristics as the original cord. Caution: The earth wire (yellow/green) must be earthed. Installation must
comply with current standards.
• Never unplug the product by pulling on the cord.
DISCONNECT DEVICE: The power outlet must be installed near the equipment and be easily accessible.
OPERATION
Turn on the switch of the front panel.
MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning the unit, disconnect it if from the mains. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents. Use a clean
cloth to wipe any dust or dirt from the product. We are not liable for damage arising from incorrect handing,
improper use or wear and tear. We reserve the right to make technical modi󰊟cations.
