This Stealthbox® is a product which

requires professional installation skills

and tools.

Please read this installation guide thor-

oughly before beginning the project.

It will guide you step by step through

the installation. Several of the steps in

this process may require two people to

accomplish.

It is absolutely vital that the enclo-

sure be properly mounted to the

vehicle according to these instructions.

Failure to mount the enclosure properly

presents two problems: 1) The sub-

bass performance will suffer due to the

movement of the enclosure caused by

the force exerted by the woofer(s) and

2) A loose enclosure presents a serious

safety hazard in the event of a collision

or sudden deceleration.

STEP 1:

Remove the front pocket, inside

insert and rubber flooring.

STEP 2:

With an 8mm socket and long exten-

sion. Remove the four bolts that are located

in the front pocket area.

STEP 3:

(a)Lower the two rear seats and lift

up the drop flooring to expose the bolts.

(b)Remove the pair of bolts from each side,

then remove the OEM console out of the

truck.

STEP 4:

With the OEM console removed,

unbolt the rear U-bracket off the rear wall.

STEP 5:

The Stealthbox® is shipped with two

brackets mounted to it. Remove the rear

angle bracket, from the Stealthbox®. These

bolts are to be used in later a step.

Mount this angle bracket to where the U-

bracket was removed.

Use the three OEM bolts that were removed

in STEP4.

This is also a great time to run speaker

wire from the amplifier location to the

Stealthbox® location. Check the woofer for

proper operation.

STEP 6:

With the Stealthbox® flipped on

it’s back. Remove the bolts that secure the

mounted bracket. Flip the bracket and secure.

The top picture shows the bracket as is

shipped. The bottom picture shows the

bracket, flipped.

STEP 7:

Place the Stealthbox® into location. Place

a supplied 1”spacer between the Stealthbox®® and

the factory bracket. Place a supplied flat washer and

fender washer onto each #8x40mm bolts. Place this

bolt assembly through the Stealthbox®® bracket,

spacer and finger tighten to factory bracket.

STEP 8: (no picture)

Line up the rear of Stealthbox®®

to the rear angle bracket. Using the bolts that

were removed in , secure the rear of the STEP 5

Stealthbox®® to the angle bracket.

Secure all the mounting bolts.

STEP 13:(a)

Cut the inner four tabs, from the

outer console.

STEP 9:

With the factory console outside,

remove the four 8mm bolts from bottom of

storage console.

STEP 10:

Remove the seven T-15 Torx screws

from the hinge area and remove the lid.

STEP 13: (b) In some consoles, there are

additional two tabs.They are located on the

rear of outside shell.

STEP 14:

From inside of the truck, place the

outer OEM shell over the Stealthbox®®.

Push a supplied plastic tree lock through the

rear bolt holes of the outer shell, into the

Stealthbox®®. Repeat on other side.

STEP 15:(a) Using the OEM screw holes as

guides. Use a 1/8” drill bit, drill into upper

sides of the Stealthbox®®.

(b) To mount the outer shell to the

Stealthbox®®. Use the four OEM screws that

were removed in STEP 12.

STEP 11:

(a)With lid removed, remove the T-

15 Torx screws.

(b)Pull out the inner console from outside

shell.

STEP 12: Remove these four screws.

Remove the inner structure support from

outer shell.
