HMS-Überwachungs-Transponder,

frequenzagil

■ Voraussetzungen

Der TVM 850 H ist ein HMS-Transponder zur Integration in das

KOM-System (oder ein anderes HMS-kompatibles Überwachungssystem).

Er darf nur auf speziell für den TVM 850 H freigegebenen Steckplätzen

gesteckt werden, wenn seine Firmware für das Grundgerät geeignet ist.

In folgenden Geräten ist der Betrieb nicht zulässig:

ORA 820/821, OSR 30/32/50/52, VGF 938, VOS 930/931/940/941/950/951.

Zudem muss sich das Grundgerät im spannungsfreien Zustand

be ﬁ nden. Vom Head End Controller (HEC) in der Kopfstelle wird

der Transponder registriert und gemanagt.

Hierfür ist für das entsprechende Frequenzpaar (Down- und Upstream-Funk-

tion) eine physikalische Verbindung nach SCTE 25-1 und eine

Datenverbindung nach SCTE 25-2 notwendig.

Hinweis:

Für die richtige topographische Darstellung der einzelnen Transponder mit

Hilfe des Überwachungssystems ist eine Zuordnung der MAC-Adresse zum

jeweiligen Standort des Transponders unbedingt notwendig. Der beigefügte

Aufkleber kann zur Erstellung einer entsprechenden Übersicht und der

Dokumentation genutzt werden.

■ Schnittstellen

Service-Schnittstelle LMT (Local Monitoring Terminal) (RJ 12)

Die Service-Schnittstelle ist zukünftig zum Anschluss eines PCs, Laptops, PDAs

etc. vorgesehen. Die grüne LED „Receive“ zeigt an, dass der Überwachungs-

Transponder abgefragt wird.

■ Montage

Stecken Sie das Modul bis auf Anschlag in den entsprechenden Steckplatz des

Grundgerätes ein.

Sind im Grundgerät Verschraubungspunkte für das Modul vorhanden, muss

dieses mit den beiden beigepackten Schrauben befestigt werden.

Anzugsdrehmoment MA=1-1,2 Nm

■ Sicherheitshinweise

Die nationalen Vorschriften und Sicherheitsbestimmungen sind zu beachten (siehe auch EN 50083-1).

Der Anschluss und die Montage des Gerätes darf nur durch eine Elektrofachkraft erfolgen.

Eigenmächtige Eingriffe und Veränderungen am Gerät führen zum Erlöschen des Gewährleistungs-Anspruches.

■ Frequenzsuche

Ohne zusätzliche Konﬁ guration wird eine Frequenzsuche im gesamten

Empfangs-Frequenzbereich durchgeführt, bis ein HMS-Träger gefunden wird.

Der Suchvorgang kann in der „Transponder-MIB“ eingeschränkt werden -

folgende Parameter sind dabei einstellbar:

■ Niedrigste Scan-Frequenz

■ Höchste Scan-Frequenz

■ Schrittweite

■ Frequenz-Scan an-/abschaltbar

■ Service-Schnittstelle (RJ 12)

■ Requirements

The TVM 850 H is a HMS trnasponder for integration into the KOM system(or

another HMS-compliant monitoring system). It may only be used in the insert

positions specially intended for the TVM 850 H.

It must neither be inserted into nor used in combination with the

following devices: ORA 820/821, OSR 30/32/50/52, VGF 938,

VOS 930/931/940/941/950/951.

The TVM 850 H may be inserted only if its ﬁ rmware is suitable for

the base unit. In addition the base unit must not be under voltage

at the time.

The transponder is registered and managed by the head end controller (HEC)

in the head position.

A physical connection acc. to SCTE 25-1 and a data connection acc. to

SCTE 25-2 for the respective frequency pair (downstream and upstream

functions) are necessary to achieve this.

Note:

For correct topographical representation of the individual transponder

using the monitoring system it is essential that the MAC address is

assigned to the respective location of the transponder.

The sticker provided can be used for making an appropriate check

and for documentation.

■ Interfaces

Service interface LMT (Local Monitoring Terminal) (RJ 12)

The service interface is prepared for future use with a PC, laptop, PDA etc.

The green “Receive” LED indicates that the monitoring transponder is

being read.

■ Installation

Insert the module up to the stop in the respective insert position in the

base unit.

If the base unit has screw attachment points for the module, the two

screws supplied be used to secure the module.must

Tightening torque MA=1-1.2 Nm

■ Safety Instructions

National regulations and safety regulations must be heeded (see also EN 50083-1).

Connection and assembly of the equipment may only be undertaken by a qualiﬁ ed electrician.

Unauthorised opening of and changes to the equipment cause a voiding of the warranty.

■ Frequency scan

With no additional conﬁ guration a frequency scan will be performed over

the entire reception frequency range until a HMS carrier is found.

The search process can be restricted using the “Transponder MIB”, which

allows the following parameters to be set:

■ Lowest scan frequency

■ Highest scan frequency

■ Frequency increment

■ Frequency scan switch on/switch off
