FUNCIONAMIENTO (Figura 3)
1. Cuidadosamente retire el Ventilador de la bolsa plástica y la caja.
Asegúrese que el enchufe encaje
firmemente en el tomacorriente.
Cuando los enchufes quedan flojos en los
tomacorrientes, pueden deslizarse parcial o
completamente fuera del tomacorriente con un leve
movimiento del cable adosado. Los tomacorrientes
en este estado podrían sobrecalentarse y representar
un grave peligro de incendio; si está cubierto por una
cortina o tela, el riesgo de incendio es aún mayor.
2. Enchufe en una toma de corriente de 120V AC.
3. Presione el botón de Encendido para encender el ventilador.
ADVERTENCIA: ASEGÚRESE DE QUE EL VENTILADOR
ESTÉ APAGADO ANTES DE INVERTIR LA UNIDAD EN
LA VENTANA.
4. Cuando el ventilador se conecta inicialmente y se enciende,
el ventilador comenzará en velocidad alta, modo de
entrada, brillo completo, con el temporizador y el
termostato inactivos.
5. Pulse el botón de Velocidad del ventilador para seleccionar
el ajuste de velocidad deseada del ventilador, 1 (baja), 2
(media), 3 (alta).
6. Pulse el botón de Flujo de aire para seleccionar entre la
entrada, salida e intercambio. El intercambio hace que el
ventilador realice la salida mientras que el otro ventilador
hace la entrada.
7. Pulse el botón de Atenuador para regular todas las luces de
la pantalla.
8. Pulse el botón de Temporizador para realizar la selección
de tiempo deseado. Los ajustes están en incrementos de 0
a 8 horas.
9. Pulse el botón de aumento de temperatura para aumentar
la temperatura del termostato. Pulse el botón de
disminución de temperatura para disminuir la temperatura
del termostato.
INSTALACIÓN PARA VENTANA DE DOBLE
ABERTURA (Figura 1)
Recomendamos mantener la malla de la ventana en su lugar.
1. Centre el ventilador en la ventana, tire de los paneles expansibles
hacia afuera para hacerlos encajar con seguridad en el riel de
la ventana.
2. Baje la ventana y asegure detrás del sujetador de la ventana
encima del ventilador.
PARA VENTANAS VERTICALES CORREDIZAS
y VENTANAS DE MARCO GIRATORIO:
Recomendamos mantener la malla de la ventana en su lugar.
1. Coloque el ventilador en la ventana con el interruptor apuntando
hacia el centro de la abertura.
2. El ventilador debe encajar con seguridad contra el borde interno
de la abertura de la ventana.
3. Deslice la ventana corrediza hasta tocar el borde del ventana. El
borde lateral de la ventana debe encajar con seguridad detrás
del borde de la caja del ventilador.
4. Para ventanas de tamaño superior a 35" (889 mm), construya un
panel de madera contrachapada que encaje en el área abierta
y asegure el ventilador al marco de la ventana.
5. En ventanas con marco giratorio que tengan un ancho superior
a 12" (304,8 mm), será necesario construir una estructura de
madera contrachapada alrededor del ventilador y luego asegurar
la estructura al ventilador y al marco de la ventana.

INSTALACIÓN DE LAS PATAS (Figura 2)
Cuando utilice el ventilador como un ventilador de piso o
mesa, coloque las dos (2) patas en su lugar al deslizarlas en la
parte inferior hasta que queden sujetadas.
ADVERTENCIA: Asegúrese de que las patas no estén
colocadas cuando utilice el ventilador en una ventana.

ALWAYS unplug the power cord when servicing, cleaning or moving the Fan. DO NOT use the ON/OFF switch as the sole
means of disconnecting power. NEVER leave children unattended when the Fan is on or plugged in. ALWAYS turn off and
unplug the Fan when not in use.
BE CERTAIN that the power source for the Fan is 120V AC. DO NOT plug the Fan into 240V or other power source.
The on your Lasko fan is a safety feature. It contains a non-replaceable safety device (fuse) that should not be Blue Plug™
removed or tampered with. To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury, attempt to remove, replace, DO NOT
repair or tamper with the originally supplied plug. If the Fan has stopped functioning, it may be due to the safety device incor-
porated in this plug. Call 800-233-0268, Monday - Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Eastern for questions. If the plug
warning label is missing or damaged, call the toll free number for a replacement label.
THIS FAN HAS A POLARIZED PLUG (one blade is wider than the other). This plug is designed to fit into the outlet only one
way. Match the wide blade to wide slot in outlet and FULLY INSERT. DO NOT attempt to bypass or defeat this safety feature.
If the plug does not fit in the outlet, consult a qualified electrician. The outlet may need to be replaced.
• AVOID the use of extension cords, power strips, power taps, outlet style air fresheners or other cord connected device, as these
devices may overheat and cause a fire hazard.
