2. ICE MAKER OPERATION
Making Ice “Ice @ Door”
• Tomakeicecubes,pullouttheiceshelvesandpourwaterontheshelves(Figure1).Thenplaceintheiroriginalpositionuntilyouheara“click”sound.
WARNING. Fillonlywithpotablewater.
WARNING.Make sure the level of water in the shelf is even on
theentiresurface,guidingyourselfwithpointingarrowsonFigure2.
Watermustnotsurpassthislevelasitcangetspilledwhenopening
orclosingdoor.
• Theicemakertakesaround4hourstoproduceicecubes.Checkthe
icestatusthroughthetransparentpanel.
• Toremoveicecubes,carefullypullthedrawerlever(Figure3).Theice
cubeswillfallintotheicecontainer(Figure4).
WARNING. Refrain from pulling the lever before ice cubes have
beencompletelymade,asthiscancausewatertospill,freeze,andcause
thecontainertosticktotheIcemaker(Figure5).Ifwaterspills,immediatelywipeitoffwithacloth.Avoidheavy
iceaccumulationinthecontainerasthiscancauseproblemstomovetheleverand/orcontainer.
3. THAWING
Thawingoccursautomatically,youdo notneed toworry aboutthis.Thawedwaterwillowintotheevaporation
shelfatthebackoftherefrigerator.
4. AUTO CHECK
Your refrigeratorhas thecapacityofautochecking.Ifany failurecomesto
happenacodewillbedisplayedtohelpthetechnicianforitsrepairing.While
thiscodeisondisplay,therestof thefunctionsofcontrola visualizingwill
notbefunctioning.
NOTE: In the temperature controls, the code is represented with a no
consecutiveblinkingoftheLED(lefttoright/downtoup)aswouldbeinthe
normalmode.

5. TEMPERATURE CONTROL SETTINGS
• Refrigerator temperaturewill alwaysbe thesame,despiteambienttemperaturechanges.We recommend nottochange thetemperatureadjustments
aftertheyhavebeensetunlessitisnecessary.Thisrefrigeratorcontainsabuttonwhichcontrolstherefrigerator’stemperatureandaknobtocontrolthe
freezer’stemperature.
• Thecorrecttemperaturecongurationfortherefrigeratorcompartmentshouldbe37,4°F(3°C).
• Thecorrecttemperaturecongurationforthefreezercompartmentshouldbe-2,2°F(-19°C).
• Therefrigeratorcompartmentcontainsatemperaturesensorwhichwillautomaticallystartandstopthecompressorfunctionsasneeded.
5.1 External Temperature Control(insomemodels)
•Refrigerator:Monitorstherefrigeratortemperature.Externaltemperaturecontrol,Figure6,(certainmodels).
DOOR ALARM:Youwillhearanalarmwhentherefrigeratororfreezerdoorstaysopenforoveraminute.Thealarmwillcontinuewiththissoundevery
30seconds. Freezeralarmisonlyavailablefor16cubicfeetcapacitymodels.Alarmwillstoponcebothdoorshavebeenshut.BypressingtheNOTE:
button,thealarmcanbedeactivated.
FAST FREEZING:Oncethisbuttonispressed,therefrigeratorwillbegintocoolatfullpowertoamaximumoftwo2hours.Pressingthebuttonasecond
timewilldeactivatethemechanism.Thisfeaturewillnotbeavailableif“ECOFRIENDLY”ison.
HYGIENE FRESH:Thisfunctionwillkeepcleanyourrefrigeratorfora longerperiodoftime,thislter eliminatesbacteriasand badodorsinsideyour
refrigerator.Foritsactivationpressthebuttonandtheiconwillbeilluminatedalsothelterlightwillbeon.
REFRIGERATOR: Thisfeatureallowsyoutoadjusttherefrigeratortemperature.Thenumberappearingonthescreenwillmatchthedegreesoftheinside
oftherefrigerator.Youcanchoosefrom5differentsettings,from0°Cto6°C(32°Fto42,8°F).

IMPORTANT:Whileyourrefrigeratorglassshelvesarecold donot cleanwithhot orwarm water.Theglass shelvesmaybreakifthey’reexposed torapid

3. WATER CONTAINER (somemodels)
Yourrefrigeratorhasasystemthatallowsyouhavingcoldwaterwithoutopeningrefrigeratordoor.Fordispensingwater,pushbackwardthe
dispenserleverwithaglassuntilthewaterows.
NOTE: Afterusingyourdispenser,itisnormalifsomedropsfall,youcanreducethisbyremovingslowlytheglassfromthelever.
3.1 Water Tank Cleaning
Forcleaningthewatertankofyourdispenser,followthenextsteps:
• Takethewatertankwithbothhandsandpullitouttoyou,thiswillremoveitfromrefrigerator(Figure15).
• Oncethetankisuninstalledfromthedoor,liftuptheholdersofthelidandtakeitout(Figure16).
• Washthetankwithwateranddonotusedetergentsorcleanerswithodor,afterthis,drywithapieceofcloth(seeFigure17).
• Finally,alignthelidwiththewatertank(seegure18),thenclosetheholders(seeFigure19),youmustlistena“click”, thismeansthatthe lidhasbeen
correctlyassembled.
3.2 How install the Water Tank
Forinstallingthetankinitsoriginalposition(inrefrigerator’sdoor),followthenextinstructions:
• Takethewatertankandinsertthevalveintheholeoftherefrigerator(Figure20).
• Putthetankovertheguidesandpushitdown(Figure21).
3.3 Filling Water Tank
Forsupplythetankwithwater,followtheinstructionsbelow:
• Withthetankalreadyassembledintherefrigerator,liftthetank’slidanduseaglassorjarforllupthetank(seeFigure22).
• Closethelidbypushingandreleaseuntilyouheara“click”,thismeansthatthelidwascorrectlyclosed(Figure23).
• Dispense 2 or 3 times to purge the system.
3.4 Water Dispenser Tray
• Traycanbeeasily removedby pressingovertheword“PUSH” inanyof both
extremes(Figure24).
• Toplacethetraybackintherefrigerator,justpositionitinitsoriginallocation
(Figure25).
4. HYGIENE FRESH FILTER
CAUTION.BeforeinstallingorusingtheproductmakesuretoreadtheOwner’sManualcarefullytousetheproductaccuratelyasintended.ThisHygiene
Freshlterhastheantibacterialfunctionofremovingthevirusorbacteriainsidetherefrigeratorandthedeodorizerfunctiontoremovethescent.
Lifeofthelterisabout1to2years,itmayvaryaccordingtotheuseprovidedbythecustomer.
• For removing the existing filter:
Filtermustbereplacedwhentheicon“RESET”isilluminated(Figure26),forproceedingwiththereplacementfollowthenext
steps:
1. Press“HYGIENEFRESH”buttonuntiljustthewordRESETison(Figure27).
2. Holdthe lter cover and rotate counterclockwise totake itoff fromthe refrigerator(Figure28).After this, remove the
cartridgefromthecover(Figure29).
• For installing the new filter:
1. Takethenewcartridgeandinsertitinsidethecover,the
text“BACK”mustbeplacedindirectiontoyou,otherwise
thecartridgewillnotbeassembledinthecover(Figure30).
2. Puttheltercoverinitsoriginalpositionandthenturnit
clockwisetolockthecovertotherefrigerator.
NOTE: Youcanpurchasethenewcartridgeatthenearest
servicecenter.
After you placedthe new cartridge you canadjust the timefor the nextreplacement.Close the refrigerator’s door andpress thebutton
“HYGIENEFRESH”inthecontrolpanelformorethan5seconds,theicon“RESET”mustbeturnedoff(Figure31).

damagethesurfaceofyourrefrigerator.Theshelvescomealreadyinstalledintheirfactoryposition.Removetheshelvesandreplacethemaccordingtoyour

2. INSTALL IT AWAY FROM HEAT SOURCES AND HUMID AREAS
