La batterie rechargeable BP-GL65/GL95 est au lithium-ion. Utilisez la
batterie BP-GL65/GL95 seulement avec les appareils dont le mode
d’emploi /notice d’utilisation recommande son utilisation.
Les caractéristiques de la batterie BP-GL65/GL95 sont comme suit:
• Vous pouvez recharger la batterie même si elle n’est pas complètement

utiliser la batterie avec une autre source d’alimentation. Une utilisation
inadéquate de la batterie peut causer un mauvais fonctionnement de

ion comme le chargeur de batterie BC-L70/L70CE/M150 dans une
fourchette de température entre 10ºC et 30ºC (50ºF et 86ºF).
• Une valeur de décharge trop importante peut engendrer une détérioration
des cellules internes de la batterie. Pour éviter cela, utilisez la BP-GL95
avec une valeur de décharge d’environ 3 A ou moins, et utilisez la BP-
GL65 avec une valeur de décharge d’environ 2 A ou moins.
• La valeur de décharge maximale est de 10 A à une température de 23˚C
(73˚F). Une utilisation continue au niveau de décharge maximale peut
provoquer l’augmentation de la température interne de la batterie et le
circuit de protection coupera le courant pour protéger les cellules
• La courbe de décharge (tension correspondant à la capacité restante) de
la batterie BP-GL65/GL95 diffère de celle des batteries au lithium-ion
conventionnelle. Ainsi, vous essayez d’utiliser la fonction d’alarme de
batterie avec un dispositif ne supportant pas la “fonction INFO” et que le
réglage d’alarme du dispositif est pour une batterie au ithium-ion

l’épuisement de la batterie devient très courte. Si possible, il est
recommandé de changer le réglage d’alarme du dispositif. Consultez le
mode d’emploi/notice d’utilisation du dispositif pour les détails sur le
changement de ce réglage. Si ces informations sont introuvables dans le
mode d’emploi/notice d’utilisation, consultez le personnel de service de
Sony. Consultez les valeurs ci-dessous et contrôlez le dispositif lui-
même au changement du réglage d’alarme de la batterie.
Même si le réglage d’alarme de batterie a été modifié sur le dispositif, la
durée entre l’émission de l’alarme de batterie et l’épuisement de la
batterie devient plus court que pour les batteries de série BP-L, chutant à

リチウムイオンバッテリーパックBP-GL65/GL95は 100Wh 以下ですので、非危
険物のリチウムイオン組電池としての輸送が可能です。ただし、関連法規・規
則については適宜改定が行われる場合があります。輸送に関する具体的な取
ソニーバッテリーパックBP-GL65/GL95は、リチウムイオンを使用した充電式電
池です。お手持ちの製品が BP-GL65/GL95でご使用になれるかどうかは、そ
の製品のオペレーションマニュアル／取扱説明書をご覧ください。
•充電の前に使いきったり、放電したりする必要がありません。
•側面のLEDにより、バッテリー残量を細かく表示することができます。
•バッテリーチャージャーBC-M150との組み合わせにより、バッテリーパックか

•BP-GL65/GL95は、従来のリチウムイオンバッテリーとは放電カーブ（残容量
に対する電圧値）が異なります。そのため、「INFO機能」に対応していない
機器でアラーム機能を使用するときに従来のリチウムイオンバッテリー用の
設定のままで使用すると、バッテリーアラームのスタートから終了までが極端
に短くなります。このような場合、バッテリーアラームの電圧設定の変更をお
すすめします。変更の可否および変更方法は、使用する機器のオペレーショ
ンマニュアル／取扱説明書をご覧ください。オペレーションマニュアル／取
扱説明書に記載がない場合は、サービス窓口にお問い合わせください。電圧
の設定値は下記の数値を参考にし、実機でもご確認ください。ただし、下記
の設定値に変更しても、アラームのスタートから終了までの時間はBP-Lシ
•負荷の異常や端子のショートにより過電流が流れた場合、または放電停止電
圧（11V）まで出力電圧が下がった場合、内部セルの保護のために保護回路
専用のバッテリーチャージャーで充電を行うと、保護動作が解除されます。
•バッテリーパック内部の温度が約90℃に上がった場合、温度センサーが働い
•60℃以上になる所に放置しないでください。バッテリーパックの性能を保つた
め、0℃〜 23℃の乾燥した場所で保管してください。
•短期間（約 24 時間〜 1か月）の保管の際には、バッテリーの劣化を防ぐため
•長期間（1か月以上）保管する際には、50％程度（LED が 2 個点灯するまで）
放電することをおすすめします。保管中は、半年に一度50％程度まで追充電
•バッテリーの寿命は、使用時および保存時の周囲温度（高温）や保管状態
•完全に充電したバッテリーパックで使用できる時間が短くなってきたり、自己
診断機能によってすべての LED が緑色に点滅したときにはバッテリーの寿命
がきています。新しいバッテリーパックと交換してください。
工場出荷時の設定では、バッテリーパックの残量は側面の4 つの LEDで細かく
バッテリーパックを装着したカムコーダーなどの電源を入れ、バッテリーパック
から電流が流れはじめると、LED が自動的に点灯して残量を表示します。
バッテリーパックをカムコーダーなどに装着していない状態で残
CHECKボタンを押します。ただし、20％未満の残量は表示されません。
緑色のLED が 2 つ点灯している間にボタンを放します。
その状態で LEDが 2 回点滅し、設定が完了します。

CHECKボタンを8 秒以上押したままにしても、放電中の残量表示をする設定

The BP-GL65/GL95 Battery Pack uses lithium-ion batteries. Use the BP-
GL65/GL95 Battery Pack only with equipment whose Operation Manual/
Operating Instructions recommends its use.
The features of the BP-GL65/GL95 are as follows:
•The battery pack can be recharged before being fully exhausted.
•Small size, light weight, and large capacity
•Remaining charge is finely indicated by the LED status.
•When used in conjunction with the BC-M150 Battery Charger, the BP-
GL65/GL95 supports “INFO function” which fetches various
information from the battery packs.
•The self-diagnostics function is provided and the detection of an
abnormality is indicated by flashing LEDs.
•The battery pack can be charged within a temperature range of 0 C to°
40 C (32 F to 104 F). However, we recommend charging within a° ° °
temperature range of 10 C to 30 F to 86 F) to ensure optimum° °C (50° °
•The battery pack discharges naturally over time. To prorong the life of
the product, it is recommended that you fully charge the battery pack
before using it. For details on the charging procedure, refer to the
Operation Manual/Operating Instructions supplied with the battery
•The battery pack may become warm in use or while being charged. This
•The BP-GL65/GL95 can be charged using the BC-L70/L70CE as well as
the BC-M150. It takes about 150 minutes (for the BP-GL65)/145
minutes (for the BP-GL95) before it is completely charged (when the

•Never short-circuit the battery pack terminals.
•Never attempt to open the battery pack.
•Please consult the store where you purchased this battery pack or your
sales representative before using the battery pack in a product whose
Operation Manual/Operating Instructions does not explicitly state that
the battery pack can be used, or before using the battery pack in
conjunction with another power supply. Inappropriate use of the battery
pack may result in unit misoperation.
•The internal impedance of the battery pack increases as the temperature
drops to 5 C (41 F) or below. This may result in a shorter operating time° °
or the failure of the component to which it is connected to turn on. This
phenomenon occurs more frequently in battery packs that have been
charged many times than in new ones.
•The performance and operating time of the battery may drop under cold
conditions. When this happens, do the following to extend the operating
time of the battery pack:
— Keep the battery pack warm and attach it to the component right
— Charge the battery pack only with the charger dedicated to the
lithium-ion battery packs such as the BC-L70/L70CE/M150 Battery
Charger within a temperature range of 10 C to 30 C (50 F to 86 F).° ° ° °
•Large discharge amount may expedite deterioration of battery pack’s
internal cells. To prevent this, use the BP-GL95 with dischanrge amount
of about 3 A or less, and use the BP-GL65 with dischanrge amount of
•The maximum discharge amount is 10 A at 23° °C (73 F). Continuous use
at the maximum discharge level may cause the internal temperatures of
the battery pack to rise, and the protection circuit will shut off the
current to protect the internal cells.
• The discharge curve (voltage corresponding to the remaining capacity)
of the BP-GL65/GL95 differs from those of the conventional lithium-ion
batteries. Thus, when you attempt to use the battery alarm function with
the device which does not support “INFO function” and the alarm
setting of the device is for the conventional lithium-ion batteries, the
duration between the battery alarm emission and the battery pack
exhaustion becomes extremely short. If possible, it is recommended to
change the battery alarm setting on the device. For details on how to
change the battery alarm setting, refer to the Operation Manual/
Operating Instructions supplied with the device. If such information
cannot be found in the Operation Manual/Operating Instructions, consult
with the Sony service personnel. On changing the battery alarm setting,
refer to the values below and check the actual device.
Even if the battery alarm setting has been changed on the device, the
duration between the battery alarm emission and battery pack exhaustion
becomes shorter than the BP-L series battery packs, falling to one to two

When the voltage of the battery pack drops to the level described below,
the battery alarm is emitted from the device.
DNW-7/9/90 series: 13.0 V

• A protection circuit will shut off the current to protect the battery pack’s
internal cells under the following conditions:
— When an excessive current flow is caused by overloading or short
— When the voltage drops to 11 V and results in the cessation of
Once the protection circuit has tripped, the battery pack will not return to
normal automatically. To cancel the effect of the protection circuit, you
must charge the battery pack with charger dedicated to the lithium-ion
•When the sensor detects that the internal temperatures of the battery
pack have risen to about 90 C (194 F), the protection circuit will shut° °
•Keep the battery pack away from fire and intense heat, as it may

Store the battery pack in dry place at temperatures between 0 C°C to 23°
•If the battery pack is to be stored for a short period (approximately more
than 24 hours and a month or less), discharge the battery pack to 90% of
its full capacity to prevent deterioration of battery pack’s internal cells.
•When storing the battery pack for an extended period (more than a
month), it is recommended that you discharge the battery pack to about
50% of its full capacity. (The two LEDs light up green at this time.)
While the battery pack is stored, charge it until the capacity reaches 50%
•If the battery pack terminals become soiled, clean them with a soft cloth.
•Battery life may be shortened due to storage or operation in high
temperatures, storage with its full capacity, and frequent use.
•Renew the battery pack when the operating time with a completely
charged battery pack becomes noticeably short or all LEDs flash green
because the self-diagnostics function has detected the end of battery life.
About the LED indications
Remaining capacity indications which appear
while the battery pack is being discharged
The BP-GL65/GL95 is factory-set so that the four LEDs located at the
side finely indicate the remaining capacity.
When the BP-GL65/GL95 is connected to a device such as a camcorder
and the device is turned on, the battery pack starts to supply current to the
device and the LEDs automatically turn on to indicate the remaining

To turn off the remaining capacity indication which appears
