Locate the crown on your Stauer watch (part
B) and please note the three crown positions
1. Pull the crown (part B) out to posi-
tion “1” and turn the crown clockwise
2. Push the crown back to position “0”.
NOTE: The date should not be adjust-
ed between 9:00pm to 1:00am, other-
wise the day may not change properly.

This chronograph measures and displays
time in increments up to a maximum of 59
minutes 59 seconds and 59 1/10 seconds.
1. To START the Chronograph press the
Start/Stop button (part A).
2. To STOP the Chronograph press the
Start/Stop button (part A) again.
3. To RESET (set to zero) the Chronograph
press the Split/Reset button (part C).
This procedure should be performed when
the chronograph second hand does not return
to zero position after the chronograph has
been reset and after the battery has been

2. Press the Start/Stop button (part A) and
the Split/Reset button (part C) simultane-
ously for at least two seconds to set the
chronograph to the zero position.
3. Press the Start/Stop button (part A) to
set the chronograph hands incrementally
or continously hold down the button to
advance the chronograph hands rapidly.
4. Press the Split/Reset button (part C) to
select which chronogrpah hand to reset.
5. Once the chronograph has been set to zero
position, return the crown to position “0”.
