1. Introduction
To all residents of the European Union

should be taken to a specialized company for recycling. This device should be returned to your

the device was damaged in transit, do not install or use it and contact your dealer.
2. Use
Installation
1. Test the transmission range (max. 60m in open field) prior to mounting the button. Plug in the receiver and
temporarily mount the button on the doorjamb. Press the button.
2. Mount the button with double-sided tape or screws if the test was satisfactory.
Changing the chime
You may wish to change the chime. Follow the instructions below.
Warning: Unplug the receiver from the mains before opening the
housing. Reseal the housing and replace the screw before you plug
the receiver in again.
1. Move the two jumpers (see 1 in figure) on the three terminals to
select one of the available chimes: dingdong or “Westminster”.
2. If another doorbell system on the same channel interferes with
the DB2’s operation, you should select a new channel for both the
doorbell button and the chime. You can do this by moving the
jumpers of both the doorbell button AND the receiver (see 2 in
figure). Always use the same configuration for the button and the
receiver.
3. Select one of the bell chimes: ding-dong or “Westminster”.
