Aquasource Clear Water Filter

Read the points listed below before installation and
use of equipment.
Aquasource Clear is a silverised carbon filter which
provides fresh clear drinking, helping remove bad
tastes and odours. It also boasts the following;
- Silverised carbon filter inhibits bacteria growth.
- Is suitable for caravans and boats (maximum
working pressure is 4 bar/ 60 PSI).
- No maintenance is required.
- Aquasource Clear filters have grooved 12mm
(WF1230) or grooved 15mm (WF1530),
inlet/outlet for use with various pipe
systems, see Plumbing Guide below.
- Supplied with mounting clips for wall mounting.
- Slim and compact for installing in confined
spaces.
- Simple installation.

Please consider the environment when disposing of
the old filter and the packaging.
Do not allow the filter to stay in your system for more
than one year. The recommended usage for the
Aquasource Clear Filter is one season or 4500 litres,
whichever is shorter.

Flushing and Installation Procedure
The filter replacement must be carried out under
hygienic conditions.
As the flushing out process of a new filter can use
a lot of water, it is recommended that the filter is
flushed clean of any black loose particles
(shaking the filter from time to time to agitate the
contents within the filter), at a domestic fresh
water tap before installing. (Approximately 10
minutes under a flowing water tap, longer if
required, until the particles are all removed).
Once this has been achieved, fully drain down the
water system, and turn off the pump at the
isolation switch.
Disconnect the old filter from the system, either
by disconnecting the Quick Connect fittings, or
alternatively remove the jubilee clips if fitted.
Install the new Aquasource Clear water Filter,
making sure all the connection fittings are tightly
secured. N.B. Check the directional flow arrow
when installing.
Turn on the pump, and recharge the water
system.
Should the filter need replacing on site (using the
vehicle’s water source):
Install the new filter as described above.
N.B. Check the directional flow arrow when
installing.
Pass approximately 20 litres of water through the
filter.
Turn off the pump, and allow the system to settle.
Pass approximately a further 20 litres of water
through the filter. Further flushing may be
required until all the particles have been removed.
Select a location for the filter and cut the hose/
pipe to the appropriate size.
Take end caps off filter and push one end into
each connector taking care that the water will flow
in the direction of the arrow.
If you wish to fix the filter to the wall, use the
mounting clips and screws provided.
When the filter is installed allow water to run
through it for at least 30 seconds to flush out any
black loose particles until water runs clear.
Write the date of installation in the space provided
to enable you to remember when to change it.
Your filter is now ready for use.
