When to Use a New Transfer Set
Every time you insert a new insulin cartridge into your pump you need to replace the transfer set.
Always use a new adapter when changing the cartridge.
A needle (B) is located at the center of the adapter nose. Insulin delivery is only guaranteed, if the needle is fitted onto the cartridge
centrally in a perpendicular manner (see step 1).
Placing the Adapter on the Insulin Pump
1 After you inserted the cartridge, place a new adapter (A) on the bayonet socket of the cartridge compartment. Make sure you insert the
nose of the adapter into the notches of the pump’s housing at a right angle (90°). Otherwise the needle could bend.
2 Turn the adapter clockwise all the way until it stops.
The adapter is correctly positioned when it is aligned with the pump’s housing.
3 The Cartridge type screen appears.
4 The pump detects the position of the plunger in the cartridge.
The pump then performs a self-test.
5 After the self-test, the Fill tubing? screen appears.
Press to fill the infusion set tubing with insulin.o

If an empty cartridge is inserted into the pump (for example for training purposes), the pump displays the programmed insulin deliveries
(infusion set priming, basal rate and bolus deliveries), even though no insulin is being delivered due to the empty cartridge.

Zeitpunkt für die Verwendung eines neuen Schlauchs
Jedes Mal, wenn Sie eine neue Insulinampulle in Ihre Pumpe einsetzen, müssen Sie den Schlauch ersetzen.
Verwenden Sie immer einen neuen Adapter, wenn Sie die Ampulle wechseln.
In der Mitte der Nase des Adapters befindet sich eine Nadel (B). Eine Versorgung mit Insulin ist nur dann sichergestellt, wenn die Nadel
mittig und rechtwinklig auf der Ampulle platziert wird (siehe Schritt1).
Aufsetzen des Adapters auf die Insulinpumpe
1 Nachdem Sie die Ampulle eingesetzt haben, setzen Sie einen neuen Adapter (A) auf den Bajonettverschluss des Ampullenfachs. Achten
Sie darauf, dass Sie die Nase des Adapters in einem rechten Winkel (90°) in die Aussparungen des Pumpengehäuses einführen.
Anderenfalls könnte sich die Nadel verbiegen.
2 Drehen Sie den Adapter im Uhrzeigersinn bis zum Anschlag.
Der Adapter ist korrekt ausgerichtet, wenn er bündig mit dem Pumpengehäuse abschließt.
Drücken Sie anschließend zur Bestätigung .o
3 Die Anzeige Ampullentyp erscheint.
Drücken Sie zur Bestätigung .o
4 Die Pumpe erkennt die Position des Stopfens in der Ampulle.
Anschließend führt die Pumpe einen Selbsttest durch.
5 Nach dem Selbsttest erscheint die Anzeige Schlauch füllen?.
Drücken Sie , um den Schlauch des Infusionssets mit Insulin zu befüllen.o

Wird eine leere Ampulle in die Insulinpumpe eingesetzt (z.B. für Schulungszwecke), zeigt die Pumpe die Insulinabgaben (Füllvorgang
des Infusionssets, Basalrate und Bolusabgaben) dennoch an, obwohl aufgrund der leeren Ampulle kein Insulin verabreicht wird.

Instructions d’utilisation
L’adaptateur et la tubulure Accu-Chek Insight (dispositif tubulaire) font partie du dispositif de perfusion Accu-Chek Insight. Le dispositif de

instructions d’utilisation de la pompe à insuline Accu-Chek Insight.
Quand utiliser un nouveau dispositif tubulaire?
Vous devez remplacer le dispositif tubulaire à chaque fois que vous insérez une nouvelle cartouche d’insuline dans votre pompe.
Utilisez toujours un nouvel adaptateur lorsque vous changez de cartouche.
Une aiguille (B) est située au centre de l’embout de l’adaptateur. L’administration d’insuline est uniquement garantie si l’aiguille est
correctement ajustée sur la cartouche de manière centrale et perpendiculaire (voir étape 1).
Positionnement de l’adaptateur sur la pompe à insuline
1 Après avoir inséré la cartouche, placez un nouvel adaptateur (A) sur la douille à baïonnette du compartiment à cartouche. Assurez-vous
d’insérer l’embout de l’adaptateur dans les encoches du compartiment de la cartouche de la pompe à un angle droit (90°). L’aiguille
risque d’être tordue dans le cas contraire.
2 Tournez l’adaptateur dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre jusqu’à la butée.
L’adaptateur est correctement positionné lorsqu’il est aligné avec le boîtier de la pompe.
Appuyez ensuite sur la touche pour confirmer.o
3 L’écran Type cartouche s’ache.
Appuyez sur la touche pour confirmer.o
4 La pompe détecte la position du piston dans la cartouche.
La pompe eectue ensuite un auto-test.
5 Après l’auto-test, l’écran Remplir tubulure ? s’ache.
Appuyez sur la touche pour remplir la tubulure d’insuline.o

Si une cartouche vide est insérée dans la pompe (p.ex. à des fins d’entraînement), la pompe affiche les administrations d’insuline
programmées (purge du dispositif de perfusion, débit de base et administrations de bolus), même si aucune insuline n’a été administrée
étant donné que la cartouche est vide.

Quando utilizzare un catetere nuovo
È necessario sostituire il catetere ogni volta che si inserisce una nuova cartuccia di insulina nel microinfusore.
Usare sempre un adattatore nuovo quando si sostituisce la cartuccia.
Al centro della testina dell’adattatore c’è un ago (B). L’erogazione di insulina è garantita solo se l’ago è inserito al centro della cartuccia
in modo perpendicolare (vedere punto1).
Come posizionare l’adattatore sul microinfusore per insulina
1 Dopo aver inserito la cartuccia, posizionare un adattatore (A) nuovo sulla presa a baionetta del vano portacartuccia. Assicurarsi di
inserire ad angolo retto (90°) la testina dell’adattatore nell’incavo del microinfusore. In caso contrario si potrebbe piegare l’ago.
2 Ruotare l’adattatore in senso orario fino a quando si ferma.
L’adattatore è posizionato correttamente quando è allineato al microinfusore.
Premere quindi per confermare.o
3 Appare lo schermo Tipo cartuccia.
4 Il microinfusore individua la posizione dello stantuo nella cartuccia.
Il microinfusore esegue quindi un autotest.
5 Dopo l’autotest appare lo schermo Riempire il catetere?.
Premere per riempire di insulina il catetere del set d’infusione.o
Per i punti successivi, leggere le istruzioni per l’uso del microinfusore per insulina Accu-Chek Insight.
Se nel microinfusore è inserita una cartuccia vuota (ad es. a scopo di addestramento), il microinfusore visualizza comunque le
erogazioni d’insulina programmate (riempimento del set d’infusione, velocità basale e erogazioni del bolo), anche se non viene erogata
alcuna insulina dato che la cartuccia è vuota.

Cuándo se debe utilizar un catéter nuevo

Utilice siempre un adaptador nuevo al cambiar el cartucho.
En el centro del saliente del adaptador se encuentra una aguja (B). La administración de insulina solo está garantizada si la aguja se
introduce perpendicularmente en el centro del cartucho (vea el paso1).
Colocar el adaptador en el sistema de infusión de insulina
1 Después de introducir el cartucho, coloque un adaptador nuevo (A) en el conector de bayoneta del compartimento del cartucho.
Asegúrese de introducir el saliente del adaptador en las muescas de la carcasa del sistema de infusión en un ángulo recto (90°). De no
ser así la aguja se podría doblar.
2 Gire el adaptador en el sentido de las agujas del reloj hasta que se detenga.
El adaptador está posicionado correctamente cuando está alineado con la carcasa del sistema de infusión.

3 Aparece la pantalla Tipo de cartucho.

Quando utilizar um novo cateter
Sempre que se insere um novo cartucho de insulina na bomba é necessário substituir o cateter.
Utilizar sempre um adaptador novo quando substituir o cartucho.
No centro da saliência do adaptador existe uma agulha (B). A administração de insulina só é garantida se a agulha encaixar
perpendicularmente na parte central do cartucho (ver passo1).
Colocação do adaptador na bomba de insulina
1 Depois de inserir o cartucho, colocar um novo adaptador (A) no encaixe de baioneta do compartimento do cartucho. Certificar-se de
que insere a saliência do adaptador nos encaixes do corpo da bomba, num ângulo reto (90°). Caso contrário, a agulha pode dobrar.
2 Rodar totalmente o adaptador no sentido horário, até atingir o batente.
O adaptador fica corretamente posicionado quando está alinhado com o corpo da bomba.
Depois, premir para confirmar.o
3 É apresentado o ecrã Tipo de cartucho.
4 A bomba deteta a posição do êmbolo no interior do cartucho.
A bomba efetua um autoteste.
5 Após o autoteste é apresentado o ecrã Purgar o tubo?.
Premir para purgar o tubo do conjunto de infusão com insulina.o
Para os passos que se seguem, ler as instruções de utilização da bomba de insulina Accu-Chek Insight.
Se for inserido um cartucho vazio na bomba (por exemplo, para fins de treino), apesar não estar a ser administrada insulina, a bomba
apresenta as administrações de insulina programadas (purga do conjunto de infusão, dose basal e administrações de bolus).

Wanneer er een nieuw slanggedeelte moet worden gebruikt
Telkens als u een nieuwe ampul in uw insulinepomp plaatst moet u het slanggedeelte vervangen.
Gebruik altijd een nieuwe adapter, als u de ampul vervangt.
Er bevindt zich een naald (B) in het midden van de nokjes van de adapter. Insulinetoediening kan alleen worden gegarandeerd, als de
naald loodrecht in het midden van de ampul wordt geplaatst (zie stap 1).
De adapter op de insulinepomp plaatsen
1 Nadat u de ampul heeft geplaatst, moet u een nieuwe adapter (A) op de uitsparing van de bajonetsluiting van het ampulcompartiment
plaatsen. Zorg ervoor, dat u de nokjes van de adapter onder een rechte hoek (90°) in de uitsparing van de behuizing van de
insulinepomp plaatst. Anders kan de naald worden verbogen.
2 Draai de adapter rechtsom tot dit niet verder gaat.
De adapter is correct geplaatst als deze op één lijn ligt met de behuizing van de insulinepomp.
Druk vervolgens op om dit te bevestigen.o
3 De displayweergave Type ampul verschijnt.
Druk op om dit te bevestigen.o
4 De insulinepomp detecteert de positie van de zuiger in de ampul.
Uw insulinepomp voert vervolgens een functietest uit.
5 Na de functietest wordt de displayweergave Slang vullen? weergegeven.
Druk op om de slang van de infusieset met insuline te vullen.o

Als er (bijvoorbeeld voor trainingsdoeleinden) een lege ampul in de insulinepomp is geplaatst, geeft de insulinepomp de ingestelde
insulinetoedieningen (vullen van de infusieset, basale dosering en bolustoedieningen) weer, zelfs als er, omdat de ampul leeg is, geen
insuline wordt toegediend.

Hvornår du skal bruge et nyt slangesæt

Brug altid en ny adapter, når du udskifter ampullen.

1 Når du har isat ampullen, skal du sætte en ny adapter (A) på ampulrummets bajonetfatning. Kontrollér, at du sætter adapterens spids
vinkelret (90°) ind i kærvene i pumpens kabinet. Ellers kan nålen bøje.
2 Drej adapteren med uret hele vejen til den stopper.
Adapteren er korrekt placeret, når den flugter med pumpens kabinet.
