Description

Exceptionally compact top for D5 pumps, made from durable acetal (41123) or

manually polished brass with dark nickel plating (41133). Main focus during de-

velopment of the ULTITOP D5 were optimum flow characteristics, reducing noise

and vibration to a bare minimum.

A fastening ring made from anodized aluminum and a gasket are supplied to at-

tach a D5 pump (not included in delivery) to the ULTITOP. The mounting bracket

is equipped with silicone decouplers specifically designed for the ULTITOP, effec-

tively preventing remaining vibrations from being transmitted to the PC case. Stain-

less steel plates with M3 threads inserted into the decouplers ensure convenient in-

stallation. The bracket can be detached from the ULTITOP by removing a single

screw for easy access to the pump.

If you have a complete D5 pump instead of a D5 pump motor, you will have to

disassemble the pump first. The only parts needed are the housing with electronic

components and the impeller.

Install the pump motor as follows:

1. Place the gasket into the ULTITOP base part.

2. Place the D5 pump motor on top of the ULTITOP base part.

3. D5 NEXT only: Remove the controller unit from the pump

4. Slide the mounting ring onto the rear side of the pump motor and fasten the

ring by screwing it onto the ULTITOP base part.

5. D5 NEXT only: Re-attach the controller unit to the pump.

Connect the return line to the central connector of the ULTITOP D5 (engraved

“IN”) and connect the other line to the lateral connector. Use light force only when

screwing in fittings in order not to damage the threads in the plastic base part!
