Spacing and Installation :

• Secure horizontally 3” from the bottom and Wall Installation: RC-8

top of your wall, then approx. every 24” on center (Example: An 8’

high wall would require (5) 8-foot sections of per 8’ of wall RC-8

width). RC-8 is installed with the ﬂange on bottom as shown in the

ﬁgure 1.

• Secure to ceiling joists every 12” on Ceiling Installation: RC-8

center if using multiple layers of drywall and/or . Space SheetBlok

every 16” on center if using only a single layer of drywall.

• is NOT intended or designed for ﬂoor Floor Installation: RC-8

installations. recommends using Auralex U-Boat Floor Floaters

when isolating a ﬂoor.

• When mounting two sections of to a single wall stud or ceiling joist, overlap the pieces and secure them together with the RC-8

same screw. Do not butt the ends of the channel together, see ﬁgure 1.
