Caution: Metra recommends disconnecting the negative battery terminal before
beginning any installation. All accessories, switches, and especially air bag indicator
lights must be plugged in before reconnecting the battery or cycling the ignition.

From the XSVI-AU1 harness to the aftermarket radio
(a) From the 12-pin harness:
• Connectthe wiretotheaccessorywire.Red
• Connectthe wiretotheilluminationwire,iftheaftermarketradiohasOrange
noilluminationwire,tapeoffthe wire.Orange
• Connectthe wiretotheampturnonwire(thiswiremustbeBlue/White
connectedtohearsoundfromthefactoryamplifier).
There is a wire on the 40-pin harness to connect as well.Note: Blue
Thefollowingwiresareforaftermarketmultimedia/navigationradiosthatprovide
thesewires(ifnotrequired,tapethemoffanddisregardthem):
• Connectthe wiretotheparkingbrakewire(ifapplicable).Light Green
• Connectthe wiretothereversewire(ifapplicable).Green/Purple
• The wirewillnotbeused,tapeitoffanddisregardit.Blue/Pink
Note: This wire will be on the 40-pin harness instead.
(b) From the 40-pin harness:
• Connectthe and wirestothegroundwire.Black Black/White
• ConnecttheYellow wiretothebatterywire.
• Connectthe wiretotheampturnonwire(thiswiremustbeconnectedBlue
tohearsoundfromthefactoryamplifier).
