Safety
• Do not use the air conditioner in environments where it can be exposed
to moisture, splashes, water, etc.
• Never use the air conditioner where flammable liquids or gases are stored.
• Never let children play with the air conditioner.
• Do not use an extension lead to connect the air conditioner to a wall outlet.
• The air conditioner must only be connected to a 220–240 V, 50 Hz earthed outlet.
The power point used must be equipped either with a countdown timer or residual
current device (RCD).
• Do not place the air conditioner where there is a risk of it falling into water or other
liquid. If the air conditioner should fall into water or other liquid, unplug the mains lead
from the wall socket immediately.
• Always transport the air conditioner in the upright position and ensure that it is
always placed on a stable, level surface.
• If the mains lead is damaged in any way it must be replaced by a
qualified electrician.
• All repairs must only be carried out by qualified staff.
• Make sure to keep at least 30 cm of free space around the air conditioner.
• If the air conditioner should tip over, turn it off and unplug it immediately.
• Always use the on/off button on the control panel to turn the air conditioner
on or off. Never use the mains lead plug for turning the device for this purpose.
• Never handle the air conditioner with wet hands or while barefoot.
• Only use your fingers to operate the control panel.
• Never try to open, change or modify the air conditioner in any way.
• Never use the air conditioner if it is in any way damaged or malfunctioning.
• Never cover the air conditioner’s inlets and/or outlets.
• Never use the air conditioner in any other manner than described in this
instruction manual.
