HOW TO DETERMINE IF THE VEHICLE HAS ANALOG SWC
Vehicles with Analog Steering Wheel Control (SWC) signal will have wires
populated on pins 18 and 19 and line up to WHITE and BROWN wires on
the 24-Pin Crux connector. Plug the Crux 24-pin connector to the factory
radio connector and trace the Brown and White wires to the factory side.
If there is only 1 wire present then it is a CAN SWC.

Once it is determined what type of SWC is on the vehicle (CAN or Analog), plug in the proper SWC cable for the
radio that is being used to the CAN or Analog SWC module. Set the DIP switches following the chart below:

3.5MM SWC CABLE
Use the proper 3.5MM to 4-Pin SWC cable for the aermarket radio you are using.
OPTION A is used for ALPINE, CLARION, (JVC and KENWOOD units will use the Blue/Yellow wire).
OPTION B is used for Atoto, BOSS, DUAL, FAHRENHEIT, JENSEN, POWER ACOUSTIK, PIONEER, SONY,
SOUNDSTREAM and most o-brand radios.
NOTE: For Atoto, Blaupunkt, Dual, Farenheit, Power Acousk, Soundstream, and most o-brand radios,
check the aermarket radio’s manual to see if the SWC buons need to be programmed.
