check the aftermarket radio’s manual to see if the SWC buttons need to be programmed.

STEERING WHEEL CONTROL DIP SWITCHES ARE TO BE SET IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ORIGINALLY REMOVED FACTORY RADIO:

*For steering wheels with pickup and hangup phone buons.

**For steering wheels without pickup and hang up phone buons.

For the year model Subaru vehicles listed above, check the factory radio harness if it has a GREEN/YELLOW wire across the

BROWN wire on the SWRSU-38B harness (see diagram A). If it has a GREEN/YELLOW wire follow the connecon chart below

and refer to diagram B. Set DIP switches 5 to 8 to: . ON OFF ON OFF
