DA4 HD 4K and DA 6 HD 4K• Setup Guide
Overview
The Extron DA4 HD 4K and DA6 HD 4K distribution ampliers
distribute one HDMIinput signal to four or six outputs
simultaneously (following the HDMI 1.4 specication at
resolutions up to UHD and 4K). This setup guide provides basic
instructions for installation by an experienced installer. For

A — Lights green when power is applied to the unit.Power status LED
B — Used for SIS™ conguration, monitoring, and rmware updates.USB Config port
C — Lights green when a TMDS signal is detected on the HDMI input.Input Signal LED
D — Light green when HPD is detected from the corresponding sink device and when a TMDS Output Signal LEDs
signal is detected at the input.
E — Lights green when the source requires HDCP encryption and it has been authenticated with the Input HDCP LED
HDMI input.
F — Light green when HDCP is authenticated between the DA4 HD 4K or DA6 HD 4K output and Output HDCP LEDs
the corresponding sink device.

to a 100‑240VAC (50or 60 Hz) power source.
B — Connect a source device to this female HDMI input
HDMI type A connector.
C — Connect up to four or six display HDMI outputs
devices to these female HDMI type A connectors.
D — Used for SIS conguration, monitoring, and RS-232
rmware updates (Pin 1 = Tx, Pin 2 = Rx, Pin 3 = Ground).
Protocol: 9600 baud, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity.
