WARNINGS - INTRINSICALLY SAFE
y WARNING: To prevent ignition of a hazardous atmosphere, do not open any part or
attempt to exchange any of the supplied battery packs while in the hazardous environment.
This task must ONLY be performed in an area known to be non-hazardous.
y WARNING: The XPP-5564 is only approved for use with 4 AA Energizer EN91, Energizer
E91, Panasonic LR6XWA or Duracell MN1500 batteries.
y WARNING: To prevent ignition of a hazardous atmosphere, non-rechargeable AA
batteries must only be changed in an area known to be non-hazardous.
y WARNING: To reduce the risk of explosion, do not mix new non-rechargeable batteries
with used non-rechargeable batteries, or mix non-rechargeable batteries from different
manufacturers.
y WARNING: Substitution of components may impair intrinsic safety.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR INTRINSIC SAFETY
y For personal safety, always conrm the rating of any known hazardous or potentially
hazardous location where the Angle Light is to be used.
y Only devices directly connected to apparatus complying with the IEC 60950 series are
allowed.
POWERING THE XPP-5564
The XPP-5564 Intrinsically Safe Light is powered by 4 - AA Energizer EN91, Energizer
E91, Panasonic LR6XWA, or Duracell MN1500 batteries. To maintain the Intrinsically Safe
rating use only approved batteries with the XPP-5564.
y Do not use any other type or brand of AA battery with this light.
y Do not use rechargeable AA batteries with this light.
INSTALLING THE BATTERIES
WARNING: To prevent ignition of a hazardous atmosphere, do not open the battery
compartment in the hazardous environment. This task must ONLY be done in an area
known to be non-hazardous.
1. Loosen the screw on the battery compartment door on the base of the light
Do not try to remove door screw. It is captured to prevent loss.
2. Place the batteries into the light per the diagram located on the inside of the battery door.
Do not over-tighten the battery compartment door screw.
OPERATION
LIGHTING MODES:
Flashlight Modes - Switch 1
High - Full press and release
Low - Second full press and release
Off - Third full press and release
Floodlight Modes - Switch 2
High - Full press and release
Low - Second full press and release
Off - Third full press and release
Dual-Light Mode
Both the ashlight and oodlight can be turned on at the same time. Pressing either switch
will turn both lights off.
Battery Status Indicator
The light located on top of the bezel indicates when it is time to replace the batteries:
Green - Normal operation
Red - Low power, battery capacity at or below 30%
WARRANTY
LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
Bayco Products, Inc. warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship and
materials for the original purchaser’s lifetime. The Limited Lifetime Warranty includes the
LEDs, housing and lenses. Rechargeable batteries, chargers, switches, electronics and
included accessories are warranted for a period of two years with proof of purchase. Normal
wear and failures which are caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, faulty installation and
lightning damage are excluded.
We will repair or replace this product should we determine it to be defective. This is the
only warranty, expressed or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or tness for
a particular purpose.

ALIMENTATION DE LA LAMPE XPP-5564
La lampe à sécurité intrinsèque XPP-5564 est alimentée par 4 piles AA Energizer
EN91, Energizer E91, Panasonic LR6XWA ou Duracell MN1500. Pour maintenir la sécurité
intrinsèque, utilisez uniquement des batteries approuvées avec le XPP-5564.
y N’utilisez aucun autre type ou marque de pile AA avec cette lampe.
y N’utilisez pas de piles AA rechargeables avec cette lampe.
INSTALLATION DE LA BATTERIE
AVERTISSEMENT: Pour éviter l’inammation d’atmosphère dangereuse, ne pas ouvrir
le compartiment à piles dans un endroit dangereux. Cette tâche doit être effectuée
UNIQUEMENT dans une zone non dangereuse.
1. Desserrez la vis du couvercle du compartiment à piles situé à la base de la lampe.
REMARQUE : N’essayez pas de retirer la vis. Il est conçu pour éviter toute chute..
2. Placez les piles dans la lampe selon le schéma situé à l’intérieur du couvercle du
compartiment à piles.
REMARQUE : Ne pas trop serrer la vis de la porte du compartiment à piles.
FONCTIONNEMENT
MODES D’ÉCLAIRAGE :
Modes de lampe de poche – Commutateur 1
Élevé - Presse et communiqué complets
Faible - Deuxième pression complète et relâchement
Désactivé - Troisième pression et relâchement complets.
Modes du projecteur - Commutateur 2
Élevé - Presse et communiqué complets
Faible - Deuxième pression complète et relâchement
Désactivé - Troisième pression et relâchement complets.
Double mode d’éclairage
La lampe de poche et le projecteur peuvent être allumés en même temps. Appuyer sur
l’un ou l’autre des interrupteurs éteindra les deux lumières.
Indicateur d’état de la batterie
Le voyant situé en haut du cadre indique quand il est temps de remplacer les piles :
Vert - Fonctionnement normal
Rouge - Faible consommation, capacité de la batterie égale ou inférieure à 30 %

La luz intrínsecamente segura XPP-5564 funciona con 4 pilas AA Energizer EN91,
Energizer E91, Panasonic LR6XWA o Duracell MN1500. Para mantener la clasicación de
seguridad intrínseca, utilice únicamente baterías aprobadas con el XPP-5564.
y No utilice ningún otro tipo o marca de batería AA con esta luz.
y No utilice pilas AA recargables con esta luz.
INSTALACIÓN DE LAS BATERÍAS
ADVERTENCIA: PARA EVITAR LA IGNICIÓN DE UNA ATMÓSFERA PELIGROSA,
NO ABRA EL COMPARTIMIENTO DE LA BATERÍA EN UN ENTORNO PELIGROSO.

1. Aoje el tornillo de la puerta del compartimiento de la batería en la base de la luz.
No intente quitar el tornillo de la puerta. Está diseñado para evitar que se caiga.
2. Coloque las baterías en la luz según el diagrama ubicado en el interior de la puerta de
las baterías.
No apriete demasiado el tornillo de la puerta del compartimiento de la batería.
FUNCIONAMIENTO
MODOS DE ILUMINACIÓN:
Modos de linterna: interruptor 1
Alto: prensa y comunicado completos
Bajo: completa segunda pulsación y liberación.
Apagado: tercera pulsación completa y liberación.
Modos de iluminación: interruptor 2
Alto: prensa y comunicado completos
Bajo: completa segunda pulsación y liberación.
Apagado: tercera pulsación completa y liberación.
Modo de luz dual
Tanto la linterna como el reector se pueden encender al mismo tiempo. Al presionar
cualquiera de los interruptores se apagarán ambas luces.
Indicador de estado de la batería
La luz ubicada en la parte superior del bisel indica cuándo es el momento de reemplazar
las baterías:
Verde: funcionamiento normal
Rojo: baja potencia, capacidad de la batería igual o inferior al 30%
