WARNINGS - INTRINSICALLY SAFE
y WARNING: To prevent ignition of a hazardous atmosphere, do not open any part or
attempt to exchange any of the supplied battery packs while in the hazardous environment.
This task must ONLY be performed in an area known to be non-hazardous.
y WARNING: The XPP-5564 is only approved for use with 4 AA Energizer EN91, Energizer
E91, Panasonic LR6XWA or Duracell MN1500 batteries.
y WARNING: To prevent ignition of a hazardous atmosphere, non-rechargeable AA
batteries must only be changed in an area known to be non-hazardous.
y WARNING: To reduce the risk of explosion, do not mix new non-rechargeable batteries
with used non-rechargeable batteries, or mix non-rechargeable batteries from different
manufacturers.
y WARNING: Substitution of components may impair intrinsic safety.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR INTRINSIC SAFETY
y For personal safety, always conrm the rating of any known hazardous or potentially
hazardous location where the Angle Light is to be used.
y Only devices directly connected to apparatus complying with the IEC 60950 series are
allowed.
POWERING THE XPP-5564
The XPP-5564 Intrinsically Safe Light is powered by 4 - AA Energizer EN91, Energizer
E91, Panasonic LR6XWA, or Duracell MN1500 batteries. To maintain the Intrinsically Safe
rating use only approved batteries with the XPP-5564.
y Do not use any other type or brand of AA battery with this light.
y Do not use rechargeable AA batteries with this light.
INSTALLING THE BATTERIES
WARNING: To prevent ignition of a hazardous atmosphere, do not open the battery
compartment in the hazardous environment. This task must ONLY be done in an area
known to be non-hazardous.
1. Loosen the screw on the battery compartment door on the base of the light
Do not try to remove door screw. It is captured to prevent loss.
2. Place the batteries into the light per the diagram located on the inside of the battery door.
Do not over-tighten the battery compartment door screw.
OPERATION
LIGHTING MODES:
Flashlight Modes - Switch 1
High - Full press and release
Low - Second full press and release
Off - Third full press and release
Floodlight Modes - Switch 2
High - Full press and release
Low - Second full press and release
Off - Third full press and release
Dual-Light Mode
Both the ashlight and oodlight can be turned on at the same time. Pressing either switch
will turn both lights off.
Battery Status Indicator
The light located on top of the bezel indicates when it is time to replace the batteries:
Green - Normal operation
Red - Low power, battery capacity at or below 30%
WARRANTY
LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
Bayco Products, Inc. warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship and
materials for the original purchaser’s lifetime. The Limited Lifetime Warranty includes the
LEDs, housing and lenses. Rechargeable batteries, chargers, switches, electronics and
included accessories are warranted for a period of two years with proof of purchase. Normal
wear and failures which are caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, faulty installation and
lightning damage are excluded.
We will repair or replace this product should we determine it to be defective. This is the
only warranty, expressed or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or tness for
a particular purpose.

piles AA Energizer EN91, Energizer E91, Panasonic LR6XWA, ou Duracell MN1500.
y AVERTISSEMENT: Pour éviter l’inammation d’atmosphère dangereuse, les piles non
rechargeables AA doivent être changées dans une zone non dangereuse.
