Components Function

1 Adapter Slot • Used to house the Adapter.

2 Keyhole

• Used to lock and unlock the Lock from a Lock

Slot.

3 Key • Used to lock or unlock the Keyed Laptop Lock.

4 Security Cable

• Used to secure a Device to a secure stationary

object.

5 Locking Hook • Used to connect the Lock to a Lock Port.

6 Adapter

• Used to change the Lock head to

accommodate dierent lock slots.

• Standard Slot = 3x7 mm slot

• Wedge Slot = 3.2x4.5 mm slot

• Nano Slot = 2.5x6 mm slot

Installing a Lock Adapter

1. Select the Adapter that ts the Lock Slot on the Device you are securing.

2. With the Lock in an unlocked state, insert the Adapter into the Adapter Slot on the

Lock, making sure that the Lock Adapter is pushed all the way into the Adapter

Slot and ush with the Lock.

Note: The Adapter does not lock into the Adapter Slot until the Lock is inserted into

a Lock Slot and the Lock Button is engaged (pressed).

Securing a Device

Using the Key

1. Wrap the Security Cable around a secure stationary object and pull the Keyed

Laptop Lock through the loop on the Security Cable.

2. Insert the Key into the Lock. Push and turn the Key counter-clockwise until the

lock mechanism disengages the Lock Slot on a Laptop, Docking Station, or other

compatible Device.

3. Remove the Key from the Lock.

Using the Push-to-Lock Function

Note: In order to use this function the lock must be in the unlocked state.

1. Insert the Locking Hook into a Lock Slot on the Device.

2. Push the Lock button (key hole) to engage the locking mechanism.
