PLEASE READ THESE INST RUCTIONS BEFORE USING THE NORMAN FOSTER FRENCH PRESS.
Th e French press vacuum jug, designed by the world-famous British architect
Norman Foster, is characterised by so geometry and a sim ple sculptural form.
It ts perfectly within the Norma n Foster Collection to form an exceptionally craed
range of tableware.
Th e French press vacuum jug can hold 1 liter of coee.
How to brew a perfect coee using the French press
·Use a coarse blend or a blend specially prepared for French presses/cafetières.
·Always use fresh cold water. Heat it to boiling point.
·Once it has boiled, allow about 1 minute for
the water to cool to 95°C (203°F) before brewing.
·Put 60 g (2.1 oz.) or 6 spoonfuls of coee into the French press.
·Pour the water onto the ground coee a nd ll
to app roximately 4 cm (1.6 inches) from the top.
·Stir the coee with a long spoon.
·Place the lter in the top of the jug and allow the coee to brew for 4 minutes.
·Always place the French press on a stable,
non-slip surface when pressing down the lter.
·Make sure that the upper lid is pressed down so that it engages in the
recess of the lower lid ( ). The coee is ready to serve.A
· BTurn the lid to pour the coee and turn it back again to close ( ).
