Wir freuen uns, dass Sie sich für die 40 Lux „Lichtkraftwerke“ aus den
Serien Bike-i® duo oder Bike-i® trio entschieden haben. Die dynamobetrie-
benen LED Frontscheinwerfer sind ausgestattet mit einem speziellen,
computerberechneten iBeam-tec™ Refl ektorsystem mit Hochleistungs-
LED, das für eine gleichmäßige und breite Lichtverteilung in der Sicher-
heits- und Fernzone sorgt.
Das Trelock Bike-i® duo und Bike-i® trio sind nach der StVZO geprüft
und in Deutschland für den Straßenverkehr zugelassen.
Ausstattungsmerkmale
Alle Modelle der Bike-i® duo und Bike-i® trio Serie sind mit einem Rückstrah-
ler ausgestattet, der die Sicherheitsbestimmungen innerhalb der EU
erfüllt (nach ECE-Regelung für Europa geprüft und für den Straßenverkehr
zugelassen). Die Modelle der Bike-i® trio Serie sind zusätzlich mit zwei
Lichtleitern für noch mehr Sichtbarkeit im Straßenverkehr ausgestattet.

1x Dynamo-Frontscheinwerfer, 1 Zusatzkabel (1,80 m lang) für Rück-
lichtanschluss mit Kontaktsteckern, 2 separate Kontaktstecker inkl.

1. Montageanleitung
Die Frontscheinwerfer Bike-i® duo und Bike-i® trio sind zur Befestigung an
Ihrem Fahrrad komplett ausgestattet. Befestigen Sie den Scheinwerfer
mit dem Halter an der Vorderradgabel mit der vorhandenen Schraube.
Der Frontscheinwerfer darf nur an Fahrrädern (Dynamos) mit Wechsel-
spannungsversorgung angebaut werden.
1.1 Anschluss am Nabendynamo – Bike-i® duo
Das im Scheinwerfer montierte lange Kabel mit dem Nabendynamo ver-
binden. Das im Scheinwerfer Bike-i® duo montierte kurze Kabel mit dem
Rücklicht verbinden. Für den Rücklichtanschluss kann auch das beiliegende
separate Kabel mit Kontaktsteckern verwendet werden.

1.2 Anschluss am Naben-Dynamo – Bike-i® trio
Das im Scheinwerfer montierte Kabel mit dem Nabendynamo verbinden.
Das Rücklicht mit den vorgesehenen Steckkontakten in dem Scheinwerfer
Bike-i® trio verbinden. Für den Rücklichtanschluss kann auch das beilie-
gende separate Kabel mit Kontaktsteckern verwendet werden.
ACHTUNG! Immer auf richtige Polung achten: schwarze Ader = Strom,
schwarz / weiße Ader = Masse!
Wichtig:
Richten Sie Ihren Frontscheinwerfer nach erfolgtem Anbau an der Vorder-
radgabel so aus, dass der Hauptlichtkegel etwa 10 m vor dem Rad auf
die Fahrbahn trifft und den Gegenverkehr nicht blendet. Ziehen Sie dann
die Schrauben so fest an, dass sich der Frontscheinwerfer nicht selbst
verstellen kann.
2. Ein- und Ausschalt-Automatik
Stellung AUTO:
In dieser Stellung wird die Fahrradlichtanlage bei Dämmerung und
Dunkelheit automatisch mit dem Nabendynamo verbunden und
leuchtet während der Fahr t.
Stellung ON:
In dieser Stellung ist die Fahrradlichtanlage elektrisch mit dem
Nabendynamo verbunden und leuchtet während der Fahrt.
Stellung OFF:
In dieser Stellung ist die Fahrradlichtanlage vom Nabendynamo
getrennt und leuchtet nicht.
3. Standlichtfunktion
Die Standlichtfunktion ist immer betriebsbereit, komplett wartungsfrei
und funktioniert ohne Batterien oder Akkus. Der Standlichtkondensator
ist nach 2 Minuten Fahrzeit voll aufgeladen. Bei voll geladenem Konden-
sator leuchtet das Standlicht 4 Minuten.
4. Überspannungsschutz
Der Frontscheinwerfer ist mit einem integrierten Überspannungsschutz
ausgestattet, so dass an der Fahrradlichtanlage keine elektrischen
Schäden durch erhöhte Dynamospannung entstehen.
5. Gewährleistung und Service
Für die Gewährleistung gelten die gesetzlichen Bestimmungen. Wir
haften gegenüber unseren jeweiligen Vertragspartnern. Wenden Sie
sich bei Reklamationen an Ihren Händler. Bei Fragen steht Ihnen das

Bei berechtigten Ansprüchen auf Gewährleistung wird das Produkt
repariert oder Sie erhalten ein Austauschgerät – Anspruch besteht
nur auf das zu diesem Zeitpunkt aktuelle Modell. Die Garantie ist nur
gültig, wenn das Produkt nach dem Kauf nicht gewaltsam geöffnet oder
beschädigt wurde. Batterien, Akkus und Verschleißteile sind von der
Gewährleistung ausgenommen. Für Mangel- und Folgeschäden kann
TRELOCK aus dieser Gewährleistung nicht haftbar gemacht werden.
Diese Garantie gilt für einen Zeitraum von 2 Jahren ab Kaufdatum mit
Vorlage des originalen Kaufbelegs. Der Hersteller behält sich technische
Änderungen vor.
Bei Ausfall einer Leuchtdiode muss die gesamte Leuchteinheit, bestehend aus den
Leuchtdioden, der Streuscheibe und dem Refl ektor ausgetauscht werden.

Instructions for installation and use
We are glad that you have decided on the 40 Lux “light-power station”
from the series Bike-i® duo or Bike-i® trio. The dynamo-operated LED
front cycle lamps are equipped with a special computer-calculated
iBeam-tec™ refl ector system with high power LED that ensures a uniform
and broad light distribution in the safety and distant zone.
The Trelock Bike-i® duo and Bike-i® trio are tested according to the
German Road Traffi c Licensing Regulations (StVZO) and approved
for use on German roads.
Equipment features
All models of the Bike-i® duo and Bike-i® trio series are equipped with a
back lamp that complies with safety regulations within the EU (tested
in accordance with ECE regulation for Europe and approved for road
use). The models of the Bike-i® trio series additionally have two photo
conductors for better visibility on the road.
Scope of delivery
1x Dynamo-powered front cycle lamp, 1 Additional cable (length 1.80 m)
for rear light connection with contact plugs, 2 separate contact plugs
including insulating sleeves.
1. Installation instructions
The Bike-i® duo and Bike-i® trio front cycle lamps are completely
equipped for mounting on your cycle. Mount the front cycle lamp
with the bracket at the front fork with the available screw.
The front cycle lamp must be mounted only at bicycles (dynamos)
with AC voltage supply.
1.1 Connection at the hub dynamo – Bike-i® duo
Connect the long cable mounted in the front lamp with the hub dynamo.
Connect the short cable mounted in the front lamp Bike-i® duo the rear
light. The enclosed separate cable with contact plugs can also be used
for the connection of the rear light.
3. Side light function
The sidelight function is always ready for operation, completely
maintenance-free and works without batteries or power packs.
The sidelight capacitor is fully charged after 2 minutes driving time.
With a fully charged capacitor the sidelight works for 4 minutes.
4. Surge protection
The front cycle lamp has an integrated surge protection so that no
damage to the cycle lighting system can be caused by increased
dynamo voltage.
5. Guarantee and ser vice
The guarantee terms are defi ned by legal provisions. Our liability
extends to our respective contract par tners. If you have a complaint,
please approach your dealer. The Trelock Service Center will be happy
to answer any questions you may have:

In the event of a justifi able guarantee claim, the product will be repaired
or replaced. Claim for replacement applies only to the current model
applicable at this time. The guarantee is valid only if the product has
not been forced open or damaged after purchase. Wearing parts are
excluded from the guarantee. Trelock cannot be made liable for any
consequential loss or damage resulting from this guarantee claim. This
guarantee is valid for two years from the date of purchase, on submission
of the original purchase receipt. The manufacturer reserves the right to
make technical modifi cations.
Should one LED cease to function, the complete lighting unit, consisting of the LEDs,
diffusing plate and refl ector, has to be replaced.

ATTENTION! Always ensure correct polarisation:
black conductor = current, black / white conductor = earth connection!
1.2 Connection at hub dynamo – Bike-i® trio
Connect the cable mounted in the front cycle lamp with the hub dynamo.
Connect the rear light with the specifi ed plug contacts in the Bike-i® trio
front lamp. The enclosed separate cable with contact plugs can also be
used for the connection of the rear light.
ATTENTION! Always ensure correct polarisation:
black conductor = current, black / white conductor = earth connection!
Impor tant:
Position the front cycle lamp once installed on the fork head in such a
manner that the main cone of light shines on the road sur face approxi-
mately 10 m in front of the cycle and does not blind the oncoming traffi c.
Subsequently tighten the screws such that the front cycle lamp cannot
change position on its own.
2. Automatic on and off
AUTO setting:
In this position the bicycle lighting system will be automatically
connected to the hub dynamo at dawn and when it is dark and
func tions during the ride.
ON setting:
In this position the bicycle lighting system is electrically connected
to the hub dynamo and functions during the ride.
OFF setting:
In this position the bicycle lighting system is disconnected from
the hub dynamo and does not work at all.
