AFX Inc. hereby warranty that this xture is free from defects in materials and workmanship when installed and used under normal operating conditions for a period of 5 years

from date of shipment from factory. This warranty covers all component parts and extends only to replacement of defective xture or components; it does not cover failure due

to improper installation, misuse, mishandling or damage incurred in transit.

Safety Precautions

• Read all safety precautions and installation instructions carefully before installing or servicing this xture. Failure to comply with these instructions

could result in potentially fatal electric shock and/or property damage.

• It is recommended that a qualied electrician perform all wiring. This xture must be wired in accordance with all national and local electrical codes.

• Do not handle any energized xture or attempt to energize any xture with wet hands or while standing on a wet or damp surface or in water.

• This xture is designed for use in a 120 circuit. This xture is not compatible with dimming circuit. VAC

• Make sure that the power source conforms to the requirements of the xture. (See labels on the xture housing).

Assembly Instructions

Step 1 Preparing for installation–

A. Disconnect electrical power at fuse or circuit breaker box before

installing or servicing any part of this xture.

B. Carefully remove the xture from the carton, remove components

from hardware kit.

C. Remove mounting bracket (2) from xture.

D. Install mounting bracket (2) to junction box (not included) securely

with two screws (1).

E. Install the threaded stem (4) to the mounting bracket (2) and

secure it with a nut (3).

Wiring All wiring must take place inside junction box (not –

included).

Caution: Make sure power is o at fuse or circuit breaker box.

Check power wires for damage or scrapes Use wire suitable for .

at least 90°C (194°F). Most dwellings built before 1985 Note:

have supply wire rated to 60°C. Consult a qualied electrician

before installing.

Step 2 Wiring xture –

A. Make all wire connections to appropriate wire. Secure with wire

nuts (8) (provided).

B. Connect the green wire from the xture to the supply power

source ground wire.

C. Connect the black wire from the xture to the black (L) wire from

supply power source.

D. Connect the white wire from the xture to the white (N) wire from

supply power source.

E. Pull on each wire lead to make sure connections are secure.

Make certain no bare wires are exposed outside of wire

connectors. Tuck all connections neatly into the junction box.

Step 3 Mounting –

A. Install the xture housing (5) to the mounting bracket by aligning the middle hole on the housing

with the threaded stem (4) and securing it with the nial (6).

B. Install 2x bulbs (9 not included) to lamp sockets. Use only E26, medium base lamps, Max –60W

Type A- 19.

C. Slide the diuser (7) into the housing (5).

Step 4 Restore power at fuse or circuit breaker box–
