Active Constituents
Chloramphenicol 10 mg/g
Hydrocortisone 5 mg/g
Actions
Chloramphenicol is an antibiotic effective against the majority of commonly encountered ocular pathogens.
Hydrocortisone relieves irritation and inflammation often associated with ocular infections.
The above actives are formulated in a polybase that ensures fluidity over a wide temperature range for ease of application. It disperses
well, is non-irritating and provides good contact of active ingredients with the cornea.
Indications
For topical treatment of ocular infections in dogs and cats.
Directions for Use
Apply once or twice daily as required.
Restraints
NOT TO BE USED in food producing species of animals, including horses intended for food production.
Warning
Chlorasone® contains a corticosteroid, so should not be used where corneal ulceration exists.1
