NEVER use this product as a sensing device for personal protection.

Doing so could lead to SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH.

To avoid SERIOUS personal INJURY or DEATH from electrocution,

disconnect electrical power to operator BEFORE proceeding.

ALL electrical connections MUST be made by a qualified individual.

• Stop ALL traffic through the door BEFORE installing sensor.

• Ensure there is no vehicle or pedestrian traffic through the door until

sensor is installed and tested for compliance with ALL applicable

safety standards (e.g. UL 325).

• Check placement of wiring to ensure moving parts are NOT impeded

by wires.

• Make sure wiring is correct BEFORE applying power to the sensor to

avoid DAMAGE to equipment.

• If the sensor sustains damages (e.g falls), replace it with a new sensor.

INTRODUCTION

The LiftMaster Hi-Intensity Red/Green LED Traffic Light is designed for

use in both indoor and outdoor applications where signaling and traffic

control are required. The Traffic Light puts out hi-intensity red and green

beams that are well suited to areas that require a controlled field of view

for narrow lane signaling and daylight visibility. The Traffic Light is

compatible with Logic 3/4/5.0 operators that can accommodate the

TLS1CARD and RDGRNCARD.

VIEWING ANGLE

The maximum light intensity of the Traffic Light is at approximately +10 ft. /

-10 ft. of the center line, and falling-off with the increase in distance. This

light is designed for narrow areas where single lane viewing is preferred.

NOTE: Avoid looking directly into the powered LEDs from a close distance.

INSTALLATION

The Traffic Light should be mounted at a height which

maximizes visibility.

1. Secure the Traffic Light to the mounting surface with appropriate

hardware (not provided).

2. Insert the 4-pin connector into the base of the Traffic Light and turn

the hold-down ring clockwise until snug.

NOTE: NPT mounting is recommended when a flat surface is not

available. The Traffic Light housing has 1/2" NPT thread on the top.

Remove top plug to allow NPT mounting. It will accept polished 304

stainless steel or anodized aluminum pipe threads. The bottom thread

is for the 4-pin connector only (not for NPT mounting).

LiftMaster warrants to the first consumer purchaser of this product that is free from defect in materials and/or workmanship for a period of 1 year

from the date of purchase.

NOTE: In most cases the Traffic Light can be powered by the operator's transformer. If multiple accessories are powered by the operator, such as 2

sets of Traffic Lights and photoelectric sensors, a transformer upgrade may be required. (See Transformer Upgrades below.) A 460 V operator will not

require a transformer upgrade.
