General Characteristics

This microphone is an optional accessory to

the MXL AC-406 USB Conference Microphone.

You may add (daisy chain) up to four MXL-40EXT

microphones to the AC-406 to extend the range

of your conference. The microphone can be muted

by pressing the locking mute switch on the base

of the MXL-40EXT. The red LED indicates that the

MXL-40EXT microphone is muted.

Connection

The MXL-40EXT includes a 1/8” cable that plugs

directly into the 1/8” Ext. input on the back of the

AC-406 USB Conference Mic. The cable can then

be connected to either jack on the back of the

MXL-40EXT. To add more microphones, simply

daisy chain the connection as follows:

Warranty

Marshall microphones are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for three years from date of purchase. Should you encounter any

problem with this unit, promptly contact the company you purchased it from for assistance. The original dated sales receipt will be necessary for any

warranty claim. Do not send any unit directly to Marshall without prior authorization from our service department! Warranty coverage is limited to

repair or replacement (at our option) of the microphone, and does not cover incidental damages due to use of this unit, nor damage caused by ac-

cidental misuse of this product.
