3 Segment RGB LED Wall Bar

User Manual

Thank you for choosing the QTX -Bar with 18 high output RGB LEDs to provide colour washes and Tri

moving patterns against walls, ceilings or even floors. The 3 groups of 6 LEDs can be controlled by auto or

sound activated modes from preset internal colour sequences. Alternatively, the bar can be operated

remotely by DMX in either 3, 7 or 13 channel modes and connected to more units if a larger effect is

needed.

In the box:

Your -Bar s ld arrive with you in a single carton in good condition. T carton should contain Tri hou he

1 x main uni 2 fixing stand/brackets with thumbscrews, 1 x UK IEC mains lead and 1 x manual. t,

Warning:

To prevent risk of fire or electric shock, do not expo the unit to rain or damp environments. In the event se

of a spillage, disconnect the mains and al w the unit to dry out naturally. Qualified personnel should then lo

check the unit before continuing use.

Placement:

• Use the included mounting brackets to fix a stand or lighting truss. to

• Use secondary safety fixings if mounting overhead.

• Keep away from damp or dusty environments.

• Ensure adequate airflow around the fixture housings.

• Ensure ade ate access to controls and connections. qu

• Do not aim LED or laser output directly into line of sight, as this can result in eye injury.

Cleaning:

• Use a soft cloth with a neutral detergent to clean the casing as required.

• Do not use strong solvents for cleaning the unit.

DMX mode:

The -Bar can be controll by DMX signal, simply connect the DMX signal source the DMX input on Tri ed to

the unit a balanced XLR lead. Extra fixtures can be controlled by the same DMX signa by looping vi a l

through the DMX out To enter DMX mode, select d001 from the menu and co m the correct on the unit. nfir

the LED display will begin to flash once it s received the DMX signal from th’e controller. This unit has 3, 7
