GENERAL SAFETY AND WARNING IN-
STRUCTIONS
WARNING!
Read all safety notices and instructions. Failure to comply with
the safety information and instructions may result in electric
shock, fire and/or serious injury.
1. Wear, adjust and maintain hearing protectors in accordance with the
instructions for use.
2. Wear hearing protectors at all times when exposed to noise.
3. Check and maintain hearing protectors regularly.
4. Clean and disinfect earphone shells with soap and warm water. Do not
immerse in water.
5. Earmuffs and especially sealing cushions may wear with use and
should be inspected frequently for signs of, for example, cracks and
leaks.
6. Wrapping the sealing cushions with ‚hygiene covers‘ may affect the
acoustic performance of the earmuff.
7. Store in a dry, cool place before and after use. Do not expose to tem-
peratures above +55 °C. 8.
8. This product may suffer from certain chemical substances. Further
information should be requested from the manufacturer.
9. This earmuff is equipped with a radio transmission system. The user
should check for proper operation before use. If distortion or failure
is detected, the user should follow the manufacturer‘s instructions for
battery maintenance and replacement.
10. Warning - performance may deteriorate with prolonged battery use.
Typical usage time that can be expected from the hearing protector
battery is 350 hours.
11. The output level of the hearing protector‘s transmission system does
not meet known hearing hazard limits.
12. In estimating the actual attenuation performance of this earmuff, the
additional noise emission from the radio should be considered. The
estimated A-weighted sound level effective to the ear should not ex-
ceed 82 dB (A) with the electronics turned off. Maximum output level
of the radio receiver‘s headphones: 82 dB (A).
13. If these recommendations are not followed, the protection and func-
tion of the hearing protector may be significantly impaired.
14. The microphone windscreen, which prevents wind noise, etc., should
be kept clean at all times and must be replaced when necessary.
15. The hearing protector is equipped with an electronic ambient noise
transmission system. The user must check for proper operation be-
fore use. In the event of malfunction or failure, the manufacturer‘s
instructions for battery replacement and maintenance must be fol-
lowed.

• This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved. Children must not play with the product. Clean-
ing and user maintenance must not be carried out by children without
supervision.
• Keep children younger than eight years away from the product and the
connecting cable.
• Do not leave the product unattended during operation.
• Do not allow children to play with the packaging film. Children can get
caught in it while playing and suffocate.
BASIC FUNCTION
NOTE:
Before using the product for the first time, check whether it is
damaged.
In this case, do not use the product!
COMMISSIONING
Open the battery compartment (6) by pushing the lid up with your
thumbs. Let it slide down from the ear cup. Insert the two 1.5 V AAA
batteries supplied. Make sure that the lid is closed again as instructed.
1. Adjust the earpiece before use.
2. Place the capsules over the ears with the microphones (1) facing for-
ward for optimal listening conditions.
3. Adjust the headband by sliding the center bar up or down in the side
bars.
4. The sealing pads must be firmly seated on the head. The best result is
achieved when there is no hair under the pad. Insulation performance
is significantly degraded by objects such as thick eyeglass temples
and hoods, etc., as these prevent the sealing pads from sitting firmly
on the head.
5. Turn the volume control (2) and set it to a comfortable volume level.
6. After automatic power off (4 hours), turn the volume control to OFF,
wait 5 seconds and turn it back to ON, then the unit will work for
another 4 hours.

WARNING!
The output of the electrical audio circuit of this hearing protector may ex-
ceed the maximum sound level allowed per day. The audibility of warning
signals at certain workplaces may be limited.
MAINTENANCE & CLEANING
NOTE!
Do not immerse the headphones in water or other liquids. Always keep
the hearing protection clean. In particular, clean the ear cups regularly,
paying attention to cracks, they can deteriorate the insulation quality of
the product
Storage
• All parts must be completely dry before storage.
• Always store the product in a dry place.
• Store the product out of the reach of children, securely closed and at
a storage temperature between 5 °C and 20 °C (room temperature).
Disposal
To protect against transport damage, the product is supplied in packaging
made of recyclable materials. Dispose of this packaging by type in the
collection containers provided. For environmentally compatible disposal
of the product, ask your local waste disposal company or your municipal
administration. Electrical and electronic devices as well as batteries must
not be disposed of with household waste. The consumer is legally obliged
to return electrical and electronic devices as well as batteries at the end
of their service life to the public collection points set up for this purpose
or to the point of sale.
Details are regulated by the respective national law. The symbol on the
product, the operating instructions or the packaging refers to this regu-
lation.
Do not dispose of batteries or electric and electronic devices in the
normal household waste. The consumer is legally obliged to return
electrical and electronic devices and batteries that are at the end of
their useful life to the point of sale or public collection points that
have been set up for this purpose. Legislation in the country of use gov-
erns individual details regarding disposal. The symbol on the product, the
