5. Das Gerät darf nur in trockenen Räumen betrieben werden. In feuchten Räumen oder im Freien besteht die
Gefahr von Kurzschluss (Achtung: Brandgefahr) oder elektrischem Schlag (Achtung: Lebensgefahr).
6. Wählen Sie einen Montage- bzw. Aufstellungsort, an dem unter keinen Umständen Flüssigkeiten oder Gegen-
stände in das Gerät gelangen können (z.B. Kondenswasser, Gießwasser etc.).
7. Setzen Sie das Gerät niemals direkter Sonneneinstrahlung aus und vermeiden Sie die direkte Nähe von Wärme-
quellen (z.B. Heizkörper, andere Elektrogeräte, Kamin etc.).
8. Reinigen Sie das Gerät nur mit einem leicht feuchten Tuch.
9. Lüftungsschlitze und Kühlkörper sind wichtige Funktionselemente an den Geräten. Bei Geräten, die Kühlkörper
oder Lüftungsschlitze haben, muss daher unbedingt darauf geachtet werden, dass diese keinesfalls abgedeckt
oder zugebaut werden. Sorgen Sie außerdem für eine großzügig bemessene Luftzirkulation um das Gerät. Damit
verhindern Sie mögliche Schäden am Gerät sowie Brandgefahr durch Überhitzung.
10. Installieren Sie die Geräte nur in Übereinstimmung mit der Bedienungsanleitung (Technische Hinweise) des
Herstellers.
11. Stecken Sie keine Gegenstände durch die Lüftungsschlitze. Gefahr durch elektrischen Schlag.
12. Um sowohl Beschädigungen am Gerät als auch mögliche Folgeschäden zu vermeiden, dürfen für Wandmontage
vorgesehene Geräte nur auf einer ebenen Grundfläche montiert werden.
13. Zur Vermeidung gefährlicher Überspannungen (z.B. Brandgefahr und Lebensgefahr), muss auf die Erdung
angeschlossener Geräte geachtet werden.
14. Die Sicherheitsbestimmungen der jeweils aktuellen Normen EN 60728-11 und EN 60065 sind zu beachten.
15. Beachten Sie auch alle gültigen nationalen Sicherheitsvorschriften und Normen.
16. Der Montage bzw. Aufstellort muss eine sichere Verlegung aller angeschlossenen Kabel zulassen.
Stromversorgungskabel sowie Zuführungskabel dürfen nicht durch irgendwelche Gegenstände beschädigt oder
gequetscht werden. Es ist darüber hinaus unbedingt darauf zu achten, dass Kabel nicht in die direkte Nähe von
Wärmequellen kommen (z.B. Heizkörper, andere Elektrogeräte, Kamin etc.).
17. Keine Servicearbeiten bei Gewitter. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker bei Gewittern oder bei längeren Phasen in denen
das Gerät nicht benutzt wird.
18 Planen Sie den Montage- bzw. Aufstellungsort so, dass Kinder nicht unbeaufsichtigt am Gerät und dessen
Anschlüssen spielen können.
19. Verwenden Sie nur vom Hersteller zugelassenes Zubehör.
20. Das Gerät darf nur durch qualifiziertes Fachpersonal geöffnet werden. Vor Öffnen des Gerätes Netzstecker
ziehen bzw. Stromzuführung entfernen, andernfalls besteht Lebensgefahr. Dies gilt auch, wenn Sie das Gerät
reinigen oder an den Anschlüssen arbeiten. Reparaturen am Gerät sind ausschließlich vom Fachmann unter
Beachtung der geltenden VDE-Richtlinien durchzuführen.

5. Do not use this apparatus near water.
6. The equipment may only be used in dry rooms. In humid rooms or outdoors there is a danger of shortage
(caution: risk of fire) or electric shock (caution: danger of life).
7. Choose the place of installation or mounting so that under no circumstances liquids or objects
can get into the equipment (e.g. condensation, water coming from leaky roofs or watering etc.)
8. Never expose the equipment to direct sun and prevent every other source of heat from coming
near the equipment (e.g. heaters, other electrical equipment, chimney etc.)
9. Clean only with a damp cloth.
10. Ventilating slots and heatsinks are important parts of the equipment. For devices that are equipped with
heatsinks or ventilating slots it is therefore absolutely necessary to make sure that they are under no
circumstances covered or blocked. Also care for a generous air circulation around the equipment. In this way you
avoid possible damages to the equipment as well as a risk of fire caused by overheating.
11. Install in accordance with the manufacturers instructions.
12. Do not insert objects through the ventilation holes of the power supply housing due to life hazard.
13. In order to prevent your equipment from damages and to avoid possible consequential damages the devices
foreseen for wall mounting may only be installed on flat ground.
14. In order to avoid dangerous overvoltages (e.g. risk of fire and danger of life) the earthing of the connected
devices must be considered.
15. The safety regulations set out in the current EN 60728-11 and EN 60065 standards must be complied with.
16. It is a must to comply with all country specific installation and safety regulations.
17. The place of installation or mounting must allow a safe laying of all the cables connected.
18. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with
one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or
the prong are provided for your safety. When the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician
for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
19. Power supply cables as well as feeder lines may not be damaged or squeezed by objects of any kind.
Furthermore, it is absolutely necessary that cables do not come near any source of heat (e.g. heaters other
electrical equipment, chimney etc.) Also protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at
plugs, convenience receptacles, and at the point where they exit from the apparatus.
20. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
21. Design the place of installation or mounting so that the power plug can be reached and pulled out of the socket
easily in case of danger.
22. Only use attachments / accessories specified by the manufacturer.
23. Choose the place of installation or mounting considering that children may not play unsupervised near the
equipment and its connections.
24. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Service is required when the apparatus has been damaged in
any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the
apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally or has been dropped.
