Eight-Channel Microphone Preamplier
with V technology
The Crescendo 8 features a fully balanced signal flow. The input stage uses 10
pairs of matched PNP Transistors (Dierential Input Transistors) for extremely
low noise and a very high common mode rejection ratio.
Each of the eight input stages has six th generation V SPL SUPRA Operation
Ampliers.
The transformerless design of the input/output stages guarantees highly linear
amplifying.
The output stages operate as current ampliers and therefore provide Class-A
operation with more than 6 mA quiescent current.
Start up
Read the security advices on page .
Make sure that the selected mains voltage of the Crescendo 8 is according to
the mains voltage of your region.
Make sure that the mains switch on the rear of the Crescendo 8 is set to O
(O = O / ON = I).
Connect the supplied power cord to the Crescendo 8 and an appropriate mains
socket outlet.
If the supplied power cord does not match your mains socket outlet, please contact your dealer.
Please connect the outputs of the Crescendo 8 to the inputs of your audiointer-
face or mixing console.
Connect your microphones to the inputs   of the Crescendo 8 with high- to
quality microphone cables.
Microphone cables not included in the scope of delivery.
Switch on mains on the rear of the Crescendo 8 (On = I).
The VU meter light up.
