Components Function

1 Lock Tip

• Used to connect the Laptop Lock to a

compatible Nano Lock Slot

2 Bumper Spacers

• Prevents the Lock from scung the connected

Device

Lock and

Push-To-Lock Button

• Use to Lock and Unlock the Laptop Lock with

the Keys

Note Press the Push-To-Lock Button engages

the locking mechanism without a Key

4 Security Cable

• Used to secure a Device to a secure stationary

object

• Pivots 90° and allows to rotate the Lock Head

360° around the ball-joint

Securing a Device

Note The Key is required to unlock the Laptop Lock. The availability of the Key(s)

should be known before using the Push-To-Lock Button.

1. Wrap the Security Cable around a secure stationary object (i.e., a desk leg or table

frame). Pull the Lock Head through the Loop at the end of the Security Cable.

(Figure 1).

2. Insert the Lock Tip into the Nano Slot of a compatible Device.

3. Press the Push-To-Lock Button. Alternatively, insert the Key into the Lock. Push

and turn the Key clockwise to engage the locking mechanism.

Unlocking a Device

1. Insert the Key into the Lock. Turn the Key counter-clockwise.

2. Pull the Lock Tip out of the Nano Slot.

3. Remove the Key from the Lock.
