OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance is intended for household use.
Use on Alternating Current (60 hertz) only.
Standard curling appliances are designed to
operate at 110 to 125 volts AC.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other.) As a safety feature, this
plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way.
If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse
the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this
safety feature.
CHECK ALCI SAFETY FEATURE EVERY TIME
YOU USE APPLIANCE.
This appliance is equipped with an Appliance
Leakage Circuit Interrupter (ALCI), a safety feature
that renders it inoperable under some abnormal
conditions, such as immersion in water. To make
sure the ALCI is functioning properly, perform the
following test. The purpose of this test is to allow
you to make sure the water sensing system (ALCI)
is working.
1. Plug in the appliance and press test button
on plug.
2. The appliance will stop working. There will be
an audible click and reset button will pop out. This
indicates that the ALCI is functioning properly.
3. To reset ALCI with a reset button, unit should be
unplugged. Then push reset button in, and reinsert
plug into outlet.
4. Never operate this appliance if it has a
damaged cord or plug, if it is not working
properly, if it has been dropped or damaged
or dropped into water. Return the appliance to
an authorized service center for examination
and repair.
5. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
Do not wrap the cord around appliance.
6. Never block the air openings of the appliance
or place it on a soft surface, such as a bed
or couch, where the air openings may be blocked.
Keep the air openings free of lint, hair, and the like.
7. Never use while sleeping.
8. Never drop or insert any object into any opening
or hose.
9. Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol
(spray) products are being used or where oxygen is
being administered.
10. Do not use an extension cord with this
appliance.
11. Do not direct hot air toward eyes or other
heat-sensitive areas.
12. Attachments may be hot during use. Allow
them to cool before handling.
13. Do not place appliance on any surface while
it is operating.
14. Do not use with a voltage converter.
15. While using this appliance, keep your hair away
from the air inlets.
16. This appliance is not a toy. Keep away
from children.

4. If ALCI is not functioning properly, return
appliance to nearest service center.
5. It is important that if immersion occurs, this unit
be brought to a service center. Do not try to reset.
6. Be sure to repeat test every time you use the
unit to confirm ALCI is operational.
Should the appliance go off and the reset
button pop up during use, this could indicate a
malfunction in the unit. Remove plug from outlet
and allow the appliance to cool. Reinsert plug
into outlet.
The appliance should then function normally. If not,
return it to an authorized Conair Service Center for
evaluation and repair.
NOTE: Do not use this styling appliance on
hair extensions.
GETTING STARTED
This hot air brush is perfect for adding gorgeous
volume and shine to styles. The titanium ceramic
barrel gives fullness and body as you style, while
the soft bristles create ultimate shine and
smoothness.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
• If you have long or thick hair, you may find it
quicker and easier to use a hair dryer first to
rough-dry your hair and remove the excess
moisture. For added volume, turn your head upside
down as you dry.
• Once the hair is 80% dry, you should start to
create your style using the styler.
MAXIMUM VOLUME AND BODY
1. Start by sectioning the hair.
2. To turn the appliance on, slide the ON/OFF
switch to the correct heat setting for your hair.
3. Place the appliance into the hair, close to the
roots, and brush through the section to remove
any tangles.
4. For added root lift, hold the brush in place
at the roots for a few seconds.
5. Use the cool setting to set style for
long-lasting results.
6. After use, switch off and unplug the appliance.
7. Allow to cool before storing away.
CLEANING THE FILTER
1. Ensure the unit is switched OFF, unplugged,
and cool.
2. Holding the handle of the unit, grip the rear filter
and turn counterclockwise, as far as the rear filter
will turn, and pull away from the unit.
3. Using a soft brush, clean any hair and other
debris from the fiter.
4. Replace the rear filter by aligning the grooves
and turning clockwise, until the rear filter has
clicked back into position.

ADVANCED IONIC TECHNOLOGY
Many aspects of modern living, including air
conditioning, contact with man-made fibers and air
pollution, contribute to a buildup of static electricity
in the hair. Even brushing and towel-drying the hair
can increase these levels, causing the surface of

HEAT SETTINGS
There are 2 heat settings, plus a cool setting.
Use the high heat setting for initial drying, and the

position is for the high heat, and the third position

Para uso doméstico solamente. Utilícelo solamente
con corriente alterna (60 Hz). Este aparato ha sido
diseñado para funcionar con corriente de 110 V
a 125 V AC.
El cable de este aparato cuenta con un enchufe
polarizado (una pata es más ancha que otra).
Como medida de seguridad, aquel enchufe se
podrá enchufar de una sola manera en las tomas
de corriente polarizadas. Si el enchufe no entra en
la toma de corriente, inviértelo. Si aun así no entra
completamente, comuníquese con un electricista.
No intente ir en contra de esta función de
seguridad.
PRUEBE EL INTERRUPTOR DE CONTROL
DE POTENCIA ANTES DE CADA USO.
Este aparato cuenta con un interruptor de control
de potencia (ALCI, por sus siglas en inglés) que
apaga el aparato inmediatamente si este cae al
agua. Haga la prueba siguiente antes de cada uso
para asegurarse de que el interruptor de control
de potencia y el sistema de detección de agua
funcionan correctamente:
1. Enchufe el aparato y apriete el botón de prueba
2. El aparato dejará de funcionar. Se oirá un “clic”

5. Si el aparato se cae al agua, es muy importante
que lo devuelva a nuestro centro de servicio; no
intente reajustarlo.
6. Pruebe el interruptor de control de potencia
antes de cada uso para comprobar que está
funcionando correctamente.
Si el aparato se apaga y el botón de reinicio salta
durante el uso, esto puede indicar un mal
funcionamiento. En caso de que esto suceda,
desconecte el aparato y permita que se enfríe.
Luego, vuelva a enchufar el cable.
El aparato debería funcionar normalmente. De
no ser así, devuélvalo a un centro de servicio
autorizado para que lo revisen y lo reparen.
NOTA: no use este aparato en cabello sintético/
extensiones.
FUNCIONAMIENTO BÁSICO
Este cepillo de aire es ideal para crear hermosos
peinados, con mucho cuerpo y brillo. La superficie
de cerámica/titanio del cepillo proporciona cuerpo
y volumen mientras las cerdas suaves suavizan el
cabello y ofrecen un brillo increíble.
INSTRUCCIONES DE USO
• Si su cabello es largo o espeso, le
recomendamos que lo pre-seque con secador para
eliminar el exceso de humedad. Incline la cabeza
hacia abajo durante el secado para conseguir
más volumen.
• Cuando el cabello esté seco al 80%, péinelo
con el cepillo de aire giratorio.
MÁXIMO VOLUMEN Y CUERPO
1. Divida el cabello en secciones uniformes.
2. Elija la temperatura deseada, poniendo el
interruptor en la posición correspondiente.
3. Coloque el cepillo debajo de una sección de
cabello, cerca del cuero cabelludo, y deslícelo
hacia las puntas para desenredar el cabello.
4. Para dar volumen a la raíz, coloque el cepillo
debajo de la sección de cabello, cerca del cuero
cabelludo, y manténgalo en esta posición durante
varios segundos.
5. Use aire frío para fijar el peinado, consiguiendo
resultados duraderos.
6. Después del uso, apague (“OFF”) y desenchufe
el aparato.
7. Permita que se enfríe antes de guardarlo.
LIMPIEZA DEL FILTRO
1. Apague (“OFF”) y desenchufe el aparato, y
permita que se enfríe.
2. Sosteniendo el aparato por el mango, agarre el
filtro trasero y gírelo en sentido antihorario para
retirarlo.
3. Limpie el filtro con un cepillo suave.
4. Vuelva a instalar el filtro, alineando las ranuras y
girando en sentido horario hasta que haga clic y
quede firme en su sitio.
TECNOLOGÍA IÓNICA AVANZADA
Muchos factores ambientales modernos, incluso el
aire acondicionado, las fibras artificiales y la
contaminación, electrizan el cabello. Inclusive
cepillar el cabello o secarlo con toalla puede crear
estática, haciendo que la cutícula se ponga áspera
y que el cabello pierda su brillo. Altos niveles
de estática también producen frizz y dificultan
el peinado.
El potente generador de iones produce iones
negativos que neutralizan la carga positiva de la
estática, suavizando la cutícula y dejando el cabello
sedoso y dócil, para facilitar el peinado.
NOTA: puede que el aparato produzca un
chasquido de vez en cuando; esto es normal y es
debido a la alta cantidad de iones generados por
el generador de iones.
TECNOLOGÍA CERÁMICA/TITANIO
El cuerpo del cepillo caliente está recubierto de
una aleación de los mejores materiales en materia
de peinado. Esta aleación de cerámica y titanio
distribuye el calor uniformemente, para peinar el
cabello suavemente y evitar los daños por el calor.
Notará que el cabello se enrolla fácilmente
alrededor del cuerpo ultrasuave del cepillo.
Además, el cepillo es muy fácil de limpiar y se dará
cuenta que la combinación de estas tecnologías
dejará su cabello increíblemente suave y sedoso.
AJUSTES DE TEMPERATURA
El aparato cuenta con 2 ajustes de temperatura,
más aire frío. Use el ajuste alto para empezar a
secar el cabello, y el ajuste bajo para terminar de
secarlo y peinarlo. Use el aire frío para fijar el
peinado, para resultados duraderos. Para usar el
ajuste bajo, ponga el interruptor en “LOW”. Para
usar el ajuste alto, ponga el interruptor en “HIGH”.
Para usar el aire frío, ponga el interruptor en
“COOL”.
