CHECK ALCI SAFETY FEATURE EVERY TIME
This appliance is equipped with an auto-monitoring
function Appliance Leakage Circuit Interrupter (ALCI),
a safety feature that provides protection against
electrical shock under abnormal conditions, such
as immersion in water. To ensure that the ALCI is
functioning properly, perform the following test.
1. Plug in the appliance with the power off and press
the test button on the ALCI (see diagram).
2. There will be an audible click, the reset button
will pop out and the LED indicator will be off. The
appliance will not turn on. This indicates the ALCI is
