Introduction
We congratulate you on the purchase of your
new appliance. You have chosen a high quality
appliance. The operating instructions are to be
considered as part of this product. They contain important
information concerning safety, assembly and disposal.
Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all
the safety information and instructions for use. Only use the
product as described and for the specified applications. If
you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that
you also pass on all the documentation with it.
Proper use
The product is intended as a light source on bicycles for illu-
minating the road. The light provided is intended as an ad-
dition to dynamo lighting. The distribution of the light must
not be obstructed by any other part of the bicycle. The
product is intended for outdoor use. Any use other than that
described, or any modification of the product, is not permit-
ted and may result in injury and / or damage to the product.
The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by im-
proper use. The product is not intended for commercial use.

AND CHILDREN! Never leave children
unsupervised with packaging materials. The packaging
material presents a danger of suffocation. Children often
underestimate dangers. Always keep children away from
the product. This product is not a toy!
Persons (including children) who lack the knowledge or
experience to use the product or whose physical, sen-
sory or intellectual capacities are limited must never be
allowed to use the product without supervision or instruc-
tion by a person responsible for their safety. Children
should be supervised in order to ensure that they do not
play with the product.
Please note that the guarantee does not cover damage
caused by incorrect handling, non-compliance with the
operating instructions or interference with the device by
unauthorised individuals.
Never take the product apart under any circumstances.
Improper repairs may result in considerable danger for
the user. Repairs should only be carried out by specialist
personnel.
The LEDs cannot be replaced.
Safety advice concerning
batteries / rechargeable
batteries
CAUTION! EXPLOSION HAZARD! The
batteries must never be recharged!
Remove the batteries / rechargeable batteries from the
product if it is not in use for any length of time.
When inserting the battery, ensure the correct polarity!
This is shown inside the battery compartment.
If necessary, clean the contacts on the batteries and on
the appliance before inserting them.
Remove spent batteries / rechargeable batteries immedi-
ately from the device. There is an increased danger of
leaks!
Always replace all the batteries / rechargeable batteries
at the same time.
Batteries / rechargeable batteries must not be disposed
of in the normal domestic waste!
Every consumer is legally obliged to dispose of batteries /
rechargeable batteries in the proper manner!
CAUTION! EXPLOSION HAZARD!
Keep batteries / rechargeable batteries away
from children. Do not throw batteries / recharge-
able batteries into a fire.Never short-circuit them or take
them apart.
If the above instructions are not complied with, the batter-
ies may discharge themselves beyond their end voltage.
There is then a danger of leaking.
If the batteries / rechargeable batteries have leaked inside
your appliance, you should remove them immediately in
order to prevent damage to the appliance!
Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes
if fluid is leaking from the batteries / rechargeable batter-
ies. If you come into contact with corrosive battery fluids,
flush the affected area thoroughly with clean water and
seek medical advice immediately.
Before initial use
Inserting the batteries /
rechargeable batteries
The lights are battery or rechargeable battery operated.
Note: Only use alkaline batteries or comparable recharge-
able batteries with 1.2 V .
Slide open the battery compartment cover 6, 15 towards
the back and remove it from the lamp casing 2, 14.
For the front light, pull the battery compartment 7 out
of the light.
Insert the batteries / rechargeable batteries into the battery
compartment 7, 16 . Check the polarity of the battery
during insertion! This is shown inside the battery com-
partment. Use only batteries / rechargeable batteries of
the specified type (see “Technical Data”).
For the front light, replace the battery compartment 7.
Slide the battery compartment cover 6, 15 back onto
the lamp casing 2, 14.
Note: Charger and rechargeable batteries are not included.
Only use a charger from a specialist retailer, which is suitable
for charging 4 rechargeable batteries each of 1.2 V. The
charger requires a 3.5 mm barrel connector connection. If
necessary consult a specialist in order to avoid damage
and danger.
Note: The charging socket 8 for the charger is located
on the front light.
CAUTION! EXPLOSION HAZARD! The
batteries supplied must never be recharged.
Only rechargeable batteries can be recharged.
Note: A battery indicator is located in the On / Off
button 1 and 10 the front and rear lights. This lights up
red when the batteries need to be replaced, or the
rechargeable batteries need to be recharged.
Mounting the lights
Front light:
Release the locking screw 4 from the mounting ring 5.
Place the mounting ring 5 around the handlebar.
Tighten the locking screw 4 to secure it in the mounting
ring 5.
Note: With the aid of the rubber seals 9 in the mount-
ing ring 5, adjust the bracket 3 to fit precisely to your
handlebar.
Slide the lamp casing 2 onto the bracket 3.
Rear light:
Place the mounting ring 11 around the seat post.
Slide the lamp casing 14 onto the bracket 13 .
Loosen the locking screw 12, but do not remove it com-
pletely to be able to adjust the beam angle of the rear
light.
Retighten the locking screw 12.
Operation
Switch on the lights by pressing the On / Off button 1, 10.
Press once to activate the Power Mode. Press twice to
activate the Eco Mode.
Switch the lights on again by pressing the On / Off
button 1, 10 again, either once or twice.
Note: The front light has two brightness settings:
Power mode with 30 lux: Press the On / Off button 1
once for cycling in dark, unlit areas.
Eco mode with 15 lux: Press the On / Off button 1 a
second time for cycling in lit areas.
If the LEDs fail then the whole light must be Note:
replaced.
Cleaning
Do not under any circumstances use corrosive or abrasive
cleaning agents. Otherwise damage to the product can
result.
Use a slightly damp, fluff-free cloth for cleaning the product.
Do not immerse the lamp in water!
Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recyclable
materials that you can dispose of at your local
recycling facilities.
Contact your local waste disposal authority for more details
on how to dispose of the product when it is no longer needed.
To help protect the environment, please dispose
the product properly, and not in the household
waste, when it has reached the end of its useful
life. Contact your municipal authorities for infor-
mation regarding collection points and their
opening hours.
Faulty or used batteries / rechargeable batteries must be
recycled in accordance with Directive 2006 / 66 / EC.
Return batteries / rechargeable batteries and / or the appli-
ance using the recycling facilities provided.

incorrect disposal of the batteries /
rechargeable batteries!
Never dispose of batteries / rechargeable batteries in your
household waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and
are subject to hazardous waste regulations. The chemical
symbols of the heavy metals are: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury,
