INSTALLATION

INSTRUCTIONS

This

Amplifier

can

mounted

in-dash

under

the

dash.

WIRING

Refer

Figure

Route

the

antenna

cable

the

radio

and

plug

the

antenna

plug

into

the

radio

antenna

connector.

IN-DASH

INSTALLATION

Select

location

for

convenience

and

appearance.

When

selecting

location,

check

behind

the

dash

for

any

obstructions

that

may

interfere

with

the

installation.

NOTE:

extension

cable

adaptor

cable

may

required

for

1988-up

radios

and

some

import

installations.

Connect

the

RED

power

wire

from

the

UA60

the

switched

volt

wire

from

the

fuse

block,

the

volt

wire

the

radio,

the

blue

power

antenna

wire

from

the

radio.

Use

the

template

below

mark

opening.

DrilI1/4"flmm

holes

each

the

corners

the

opening.

Cut

between

the

holes

with

saber

hack

saw.

Square

holes

and

trim

with

file.

Insert

amplifier

with

trim

bezel

into

the

dash.

UNDER-DASH

INSTALLATION

Select

location

for

convenience

and

appearance.

When

selecting

location

check

above

where

the

amplifier

mounted

for

any

obstructions

that

may

interfere

with

the

installation.

Use

the

supplied

bracket

template.

Mark

and

drill

the

required

1/8"/3mm

holes.

Mount

the

bracket,

rib

side

with

the

supplied

screws.

Slide

the

amplifier

into

position

the

bracket.

ANTENNA

TRIMMER

ADJUSTMENT

With

antenna

fully

extended

and

radio

tuned

weak

station

around

1400KHz,

turn

trimmer

with

screwdriver

for

maximum

volume.

for

location

antenna

trimmer
