Rechargeable Clip Tuner User Manual

Thank you for choosing a Chord -4 rechargeable clip tuner for convenient and accurate tuning RCT

of your instrument. Please read this user guide to ensure you get the most from your new tuner.

Operation

It is advised to full charge - before first y the RCT 4

use by connecting e USB-C input to a USB th

outlet or charger using the supplied charging

lead. The battery charge indicator shows on the

display whilst charging. Whenever this shows

empty, the RCT- should be re-charged. 4

To operate the tuner, attach the clip to the

headstock of your instrument, rotate the display

for a clear view of the LCD screen and hold the

On/Off/Mode button until the display lights. Short

presses of the On/Off button will set the mode,

with options for Chromatic, Guitar, Bass and Ukulele. ,

(Ukulele is for a soprano type).

Play a string and observe the detected note on the

display, along with the virtual needle showing the tuning

accuracy (flat tune . When in tune to the –in –sharp)

displayed note, the virtual needle will be in the centre

and the backlight will change colour to green.

When not being used, press and hold the O Off button to power the tuner down and preserve n/

the battery. After 5 minutes with no note detected, the tuner will automatically power down.
