SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR INTRINSIC SAFETY
For personal safety, always conrm the rating of any known hazardous or potentially
hazardous location where the light is to be used.
BATTERY INSTALLATION
WARNING: In order to maintain the XPP-5450G’s Intrinsically Safe rating, the
AAA batteries certied for use with this light are the ENERGIZER E92 or EN92
BATTERIES.
yDo not attempt to use any other brand or model of AAA batteries with this light.
yDo not attempt to use any type of rechargeable AAA batteries with this light.
Warning: To prevent ignition of a hazardous atmosphere, do not open the battery
compartment door in the hazardous environment. This task must ONLY be done in
an area known to be non-hazardous.
yLoosen the locking screw located on the back of the battery compartment door. NOTE:
Do NOT attempt to completely remove the locking screw. Doing so is not necessary and
may damage the threads. The screw simply needs to be loosened enough to allow the
battery compartment door to open.
yUsing 3 – AAA ENERGIZER E92 or EN92 BATTERIES (make sure that all 3 batteries
are of the same model), install the batteries in the back of the light paying close attention
to the markings inside the battery compartment for proper battery terminal polarity
alignment.
yClose the battery compartment door.
yTighten locking screw. CAUTION: Do NOT over-tighten. Doing so may damage the
threads and impact the light’s Intrinsic Safety.
OPERATION
THE XPP-5450G HAS TWO SEPARATE LIGHTING MODES:
HIGH-BRIGHTNESS SPOTLIGHT MODE
Press the button on top of the light one time.
LOW-BRIGHTNESS SPOTLIGHT MODE
Press the button on top of the light two times. Pressing the button a third time will turn
the light off.
THE XPP-5450G HAS A TILT ADJUSTMENT FEATURE:
Adjust the tilt angle of the light to illuminate the desired area.
THE XPP-5450G COMES WITH TWO HEADBANDS:
ELASTIC NON-SLIP HEADBAND
Use this headband for wearing the headlamp directly on your head or while wearing a
soft hat such as a ball cap. The non-slip feature will keep the light positioned on the head
even during vigorous movement.
HEAVY-DUTY RUBBER HEADBAND
Use the heavy-duty rubber headband on any hardhat. The tacky nature of the strap
will keep the light attached even if the hat is dropped or used in wet conditions.
WARRANTY
LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
Bayco Products, Inc. warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship
and materials for the original purchaser’s lifetime. The Limited Lifetime Warranty includes
the LEDs, housing and lenses. Rechargeable batteries, chargers, switches, electronics
and included accessories are warranted for a period of two years with proof of purchase.
Normal wear and failures which are caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, faulty installation
and lightning damage are excluded.
We will repair or replace this product should we determine it to be defective. This is the
only warranty, expressed or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or tness
for a particular purpose.

INSTALLATION DES PILES
AVERTISSEMENT : An de maintenir le bon fonctionnement de votre lampe frontale
XPP-5450G à sécurité intrinsèque, les seules piles AAA certiées pour l’utilisation
de cette lampe sont les piles ENERGIZER E92 or EN92.
yNE PAS utiliser d’autres marques ou modèles de piles AAA avec cette lampe.
yNE PAS utiliser n’importe quel type de piles rechargeable AAA avec cette lampe.
Avertissement : Pour éviter l’inammation d’atmosphère dangereuse, ne pas ouvrir
le compartiment de pile dans un endroit dangereux. Cette tâche doit être effectuée
UNIQUEMENT dans une zone non dangereuse.
yDesserrer la vis de verrouillage située à l’arrière de la porte du compartiment de pile. À
NOTER : NE PAS enlever complètement la vis de verrouillage. Cette opération n’est pas
nécessaire et risquerait d’endommager les lets de la vis. La vis doit être simplement
desserrée pour permettre à la porte du compartiment de pile de s’ouvrir.

yEn utilisant 3 piles – AAA- ENERGIZER E92 ou EN92, installer les piles dans la lampe
en portant une attention particulière à la polarité sur le compartiment de pile an de
respecter l’alignement des bornes de polarité des piles.
yFermer la porte du compartiment de pile.
yNE PAS trop serrer. MISE EN GARDE : Si vous serrez trop vous risquez d’endommager

FONCTIONNEMENT
LA LAMPE XPP-5450G DISPOSE DE DEUX MODES D’ÉCLAIRAGE:
MODE À FAISCEAU CONCENTRÉ À HAUTE LUMINOSITÉ
Appuyer une fois sur le bouton au-dessus de la lampe.
MODE À FAISCEAU CONCENTRÉ À BASSE LUMINOSITÉ
Appuyer deux fois sur le bouton au-dessus de la lampe. Si vous appuyez sur le bouton
une troisième fois la lumière va s’éteindre.
LA LAMPE XPP-5450G A UN RÉGLAGE DE L’INCLINAISON :
Ajuster simplement l’angle d’inclinaison pour illuminer la partie désirée.
LA LAMPE XPP-5450G COMPREND DEUX DIFFÉRENTS SERRE-TÊTES :
LE SERRE-TÊTE AVEC ÉLASTIQUE ANTIDÉRAPANT
Utiliser ce serre-tête lorsque la lampe frontale est directement sur la tête ou lorsque
vous portez un casque non rigide tel qu’une casquette. La caractéristique antidérapante
gardera votre lampe bien en place même lors de mouvements brusques.
LE SERRE-TÊTE EN CAOUTCHOUC À USAGE INTENSIF.
Utiliser ce serre-tête en caoutchouc à usage intensif avec n’importe quel casque. La
bande collante gardera la lampe en place même si le casque tombe ou est utilisé dans
des conditions humides.

INSTRUCCIONES ESPECIALES PARA LA SEGURIDAD INTRÍNSECA

peligrosa o potencialmente peligrosa conocida donde la luz se va a utilizar.
INSTALACIÓN DE LAS PILAS
ADVERTENCIA: A n de mantener la clasicación de seguridad intrínseca del XPP-
5450G, las únicas pilas AAA certicadas para su uso son las PILAS ENERGIZER
E92 o EN92.
yNo intente utilizar cualquier otra marca o modelo de pilas AAA con esta luz.
yNo intente utilizar ningún tipo de pilas AAA recargables con esta luz.
Advertencia: Para evitar la ignición de una atmósfera peligrosa, no retire el bisel
del lente en un ambiente peligroso. Esta tarea sólo debe hacerse en un área
considerada no peligrosa.
yAoje el tornillo de bloqueo situado en la parte de atrás de la puerta del compartimiento
de la batería. NOTA: NO intente retirar por completo el tornillo de bloqueo. Si lo hace,
no es necesario y puede dañar las roscas. El tornillo simplemente necesita ser aojado
lo suciente como para permitir que la puerta del compartimiento de la batería se abra.
yUtilizando 3 – PILAS AAA ENERGIZER E92 o PILAS EN92 (asegúrese de que las
3 baterías son del mismo modelo), instale las baterías en la parte posterior de la luz
prestando especial atención a las marcas del interior del compartimiento de la batería
para la correcta alineación de polaridad del terminal.
yCierre la puerta del compartimiento de la batería.
yApriete el tornillo de seguridad. PRECAUCIÓN: No apriete demasiado. Si lo hace,

FUNCIONAMIENTO
LA XPP-5450G TIENE DOS MODOS DE ILUMINACIÓN DIFERENTES:
MODO PROYECTOR DE ALTA LUMINOSIDAD
Pulse el botón en la parte superior de la luz de una vez.
MODO DE FOCO DE BAJA LUMINOSIDAD
Pulse el botón en la parte superior de la luz dos veces. Al presionar el botón una
tercera vez se apaga la luz.
LA XPP-5450G TIENE UNA FUNCIÓN DE AJUSTE DE INCLINACIÓN:
Simplemente ajuste el ángulo de inclinación de la luz para iluminar el área deseada.
LA XPP-5450G VIENE CON DOS CINTAS DE CABEZA DIFERENTES:
CINTA DE CABEZA ELÁSTICA ANTIDESLIZANTE
Utilice esta cinta de cabeza para usar el proyector directamente sobre la cabeza
o al llevar puesto un sombrero blando, como una gorra de béisbol. La característica
antideslizante mantendrá la luz colocada en la cabeza, incluso durante el movimiento
vigoroso.
CINTA DE CABEZA DE GOMA DE ALTA RESISTENCIA
Utilice la cinta de goma de alta resistencia en cualquier casco. La naturaleza pegajosa
de la correa mantendrá la luz pegada, incluso si el sombrero se cae o se utiliza en
