The phantom power required for condenser microphones can be activated with

the 48V switch.

If phantom power is on, the 48V LED lights up blue.

IMPORTANT:

Use phantom power only for condenser microphones. For all other microphone types – especially

ribbon micorphones – switch o the phantom power!

Use the Mic Gain control to adjust the preamplication gain.

The polarity of a microphone signal can be inversed (180°) with the Polarity

Inversal switch.

If the input signal is too hot, switch on PAD. This reduces the level by 20dB.

You can make the VU Meters less sensitive by activating the VU-10dB switch.

Power down

Switch o mains on the back of the Crescendo (O = O).

The VU Meter no longer light up.
