GETTING STARTED WITH SOLIDDRIVE
Included with the SolidDrive SD1 Desktop Kit-250 for installation
on any horizontal surface:
One (1) SolidDrive SD1 Desktop, SD-250 mini amplier with
built-in EQ curves, 15V DC power supply, all necessary cabling,
instructions and durable, padded case.
The SolidDrive SD1 Desktop is connected to the SD-250 amp
from the supplied “push-on”connector to the right speaker output
on SD-250. The special silicone rubber pad “grips” any non-po-
rous surface.
The portable SolidDrive SD1 Desktop Kit-250 is to be used with
a laptop computer, portable CD player, or other sound source.
The SolidDrive SD1 Desktop utilizes patented technology to
convey an audio signal into a table or countertop, evenly deliver-
ing sound from the entire surface.
SETUP
1. Connect the power supply to the SD-250 amplier.
2. Plug the power lead from the 15V DC power supply into the DC
IN of the amplier. Connect the SolidDrive with “push-on” connec-
tor to the speaker output of the SD-250. If one drive is used move
jumper setting to MONO.
3. Connect audio source (MP3 player, computer, etc.) to stereo
mini input. Make sure INPUT SELECTOR is set to STEREO MINI.
4. If outside the USA, use appropriate outlet adapter and plug
into wall outlet.
5. Adjust volume on computer or other audio source to desired
level. The audio output signal level will vary from computer to
computer. You can use the volume control on the SD-250.
6. Adjust the proper electronic EQ on the SD-250 [WOOD,
DRYWALL (gypsum), GLASS, or FLAT] for the surface type the
SolidDrive will be used on.

NOTES
The silicone rubber pad on the bottom of the SD1 Desktop is
designed to “slightly grip” a horizontal surface. If it doesn’t grip,
then the surface may be too rough or too porous or it may have
dust on it. Use a damp paper towel to wipe off the surface and
also wipe the bottom of the rubber pad.
WARRANTY
The product is guaranteed for 7 years from date of purchase.
Any misuses or modications to this equipment will void the
warranty.
WARNING
Read instructions prior to operating. To reduce the risk of re or
electric shock, do not expose this product to rain or moisture.
Unplug prior to cleaning and clean with a damp cloth. There are
no user-serviceable parts in this product, please refer all servic-
ing to qualied personnel.
